Lots of hiking opportunities both in summer and winter right outside the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the Skeikampen trail network. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a pull-out bed, an equipped kitchen, a heat pump, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. You must have a 4x4 in winter. 15 minutes to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 minutes to Lillehammer and 45 minutes to Hunderfossen.

Newly renovated, spacious apartment of about 65 m2 located in the middle of Biri city center. Grocery store, café, pharmacy, hairdresser and flowers, right out in the street. Biri racecourse is also within walking distance. (850m) There are nice hiking trails in the area and a short distance to the largest ski resorts in Norway, Hafjell, Sjusjøen and Kvitfjell. Biri is a town by Mjøsa with a short distance (30 min) to the 3 towns Lillehammer, Gjøvik and Hamar, with all that entails of opportunities. Good bus connections and bus stop right outside the apartment.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
