We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

Very clean and tidy modern house and interior. Large wooden floored combined kitchen/ lounge/ living area. Great location at the beachfront with views out over the water with sunrise straight out the lounge window. The two and a half bathrooms was a bonus for our larger group. Well fenced with large lawn out the back.

Teresa's place was everything that I needed for my family of three visiting young adults, 2 small children and 2 tall people (me and husband lol). The young people could come in and out to explore Auckland on their own, the kids were safe, and all the amenities were top tier. The process to book and the communications were nice and clear, and everything we needed was provided for. We had such a positive experience and would love to make a return booking if and when the occasion arises. Highly recommend Teresa's place.

Paula was a great host and the place had everything we could imagine in an AirBnb. Paula's touch of Cheese platter was amazing and definitely enjoyable for whole family as we arrived at midnight. Paula also graciously offered do some basic shopping for us to keep in the kitchen if we needed to eat when we arrived late. Thank you Paula for hosting us

We absolutely loved the house and the view and we had everything we needed. As a last minute booking, Ben and Alex were so accommodating and communicative and made for an easy stay. Our family enjoyed the peaceful spot and the place itself was so lovely with so many separate spaces for us all to enjoy a relaxing holiday, we’ll be back for sure!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully designed and cozy home! The two-storey layout was perfect for our group — with bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs, everyone had their own space without disturbing each other. It’s a very comfortable and well-thought-out place for friends traveling together. The host was incredibly approachable and responsive, with clear and timely communication throughout. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. This property has everything you need in a lovely compact size in the city. main plus points for us, toiletries and tea/coffee making included. large smart TV so we could watch netflix in the evenings. very comfy beds and pillows! having two bathrooms was a huge plus for us as we were travelling with my dad who has dementia. this meant we weren't woken up by him and he felt happy and comfortable. the service from the hosts was friendly and very helpful and the location was great!

John’s apartment is not a great apartment. No, it’s a VERY great apartment, probably the best I have ever rented in Auckland. Ideally located, very well furnished, full of light, it ticks all the boxes.

We had a fantastic stay at Jo’s place. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Jo was an amazing host—super accommodating and always quick to communicate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Auckland. Highly recommend!

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and we were early - can’t put into words how peaceful it was to sit on verandah listening to the birds and surrounded by lush tree canopies. Everything we could need was in the kitchen and we catered for 4 adults using gas BBQ for steaks from local shops. The hill is steep but usual for NZ and easily walked (slowly) we are 61 and 64. Thank you Barbara for the lovely welcoming treats including towels for the dog 🐕 and the home grown bananas! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return 💛

Incredible space in a wonderful part of town. Very close to the lovely beaches and village of Devonport and a short walk to the ferry for quick access to the city or Waiheke Island. Always great communication from Sara-Jane. The bed is very comfortable.

My stay at Pip's place was very comfortable and nice. It was a work trip for me but when back from work, it was a very relaxing environment facing the water. There is a walking path just opposite the home and I found that very nice and enjoyable. Pip's communication was excellent and she checked via messages to see if I was ok. Would highly recommend this place.

Had a great stay here for 4 nights when visiting for work from Sydney. Likely to visit the area again and would book this place without hesitation. Very comfortable and charismatic home. Plenty of space, a lovely outdoor courtyard, quiet and the hosts checked that we were settled and comfortable before leaving us to enjoy our stay, which was lovely. Thank you Holly and Daniel. Tanya's place was easily accessible to attractions and wherever you want to go. A clean and fully equipped property suitable for a family to spend their time in. Would definitely recommend her place to stay in Auckland city.
