Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Auckland

Wow, absolutely stunning views! Mark’s place was very spacious and lots of natural light. We only stayed a night, but wished we could have stayed for the whole weekend! It’s a small stroll to the sea and a little shop that sells some delicious toasties.

This was a very comfortable place to stay for five weeks - everything we needed was there and Louise was super friendly and accommodating

Very clean and tidy modern house and interior. Large wooden floored combined kitchen/ lounge/ living area. Great location at the beachfront with views out over the water with sunrise straight out the lounge window. The two and a half bathrooms was a bonus for our larger group. Well fenced with large lawn out the back.

This beautiful Airbnb is a home away from home. It is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing, wonderful stay. The photos do the home justice, and everything is as it appears to be. The outdoor space is delightful and the smallest of details have been carefully thought out. The space is a mix of Kiwi charm and Balinese culture. An absolute plus for us that we could bring our furbaby along, this is something I wish more Airbnb's did, so thank you Lynley, Dave and Wickett. The bathroom and bedroom were immaculately clean, and the shower is equally as good as ours as home (which is often hard to match). We have no doubt we'll be back at some point. Sincere thanks. :)

Awesome place, not often you find a home with a backyard like this one. My son loved running around, and had a great time in the spa. I appreciated the covered outdoor area, well suited for dining. The large living area was great for wheb my brother and his kids came by for dinner. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here for 4 nights when visiting for work from Sydney. Likely to visit the area again and would book this place without hesitation. Very comfortable and charismatic home. Plenty of space, a lovely outdoor courtyard, quiet and the hosts checked that we were settled and comfortable before leaving us to enjoy our stay, which was lovely. Thank you Holly and Daniel. We will quite possibly be in touch again at a later date ☺️

Paula was a great host and the place had everything we could imagine in an AirBnb. Paula's touch of Cheese platter was amazing and definitely enjoyable for whole family as we arrived at midnight. Paula also graciously offered do some basic shopping for us to keep in the kitchen if we needed to eat when we arrived late. Thank you Paula for hosting us

A really nice apartment on two levels. Well laid out and absolutely everything you need included. Beds super comfy and cozy, and heating in the rooms plus heated towel rails was most welcome at shower time. Lovely afternoon light in the living area. Will be looking to rent this unit again, we loved it.

Jeremy’s place is a private, quiet hidden gem not far at all from bustling Auckland city. Suitable for a romantic getaway, the bathroom and spa are key factors in this… You must see it for yourself! The views of the rolling meadows during the day is great and even better at sunrise or sunset. Jeremy and Rae are fantastic hosts, very informative about the surrounding area and just super chill. Thank you so much J + R! You made my partner and I’s getaway that much more special.

We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice and it is set in peaceful leafy surrounds. It was spotless, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Raes home was stunning and so peaceful - perfect spot to relax and unwind between wedding festivities. It had everything we needed, even local produce to enjoy. Rae was really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Jo’s place. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Jo was an amazing host—super accommodating and always quick to communicate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Auckland. Highly recommend!

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

Hattie was great to work with and very kind. The house pets were also very cute and sweet. The view from the property is amazing as well! Great little place for a weekend getaway and the nearby towns were great for exploring. Hattie kept us informed of everything was available for anything we needed.

My family stayed here for a few weeks and really loved it! It's clean, spacious, has everything you need, and feels like home. It's very easy to settle into and is close to the shops and supermarket. We highly recommend booking this home, it's an excellent choice for long stays as well.

The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and we were early - can’t put into words how peaceful it was to sit on verandah listening to the birds and surrounded by lush tree canopies. Everything we could need was in the kitchen and we catered for 4 adults using gas BBQ for steaks from local shops. The hill is steep but usual for NZ and easily walked (slowly) we are 61 and 64. Thank you Barbara for the lovely welcoming treats including towels for the dog 🐕 and the home grown bananas! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return 💛

The house is everything you would wish for in a holiday -let. Tranquil surroundings, great view across the water from the living room, comprehensively equipped kitchen , and all the accessories you would expect in a comfortable home. You do run into what seems to be Auckland’s little publicised gridlock on the motorways ( at least where I come from) if you want to drive into the city centre or back , during the morning or evening rush hours respectively, but you should be able to work around that on a holiday. I would recommend the property without reservation.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb's I've stayed at. It's very private, very cozy and has a great view. The house rules were so relaxed that it made me feel extra welcome. I'm glad we saw this place!

Amazing Air BnB that was 10/10! Henry's place is super cool, amazing art, furniture and style... this is one of the best spots I've stayed in Auckland and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Host was so welcoming, he left cold beers and drinks in the fridge along with fresh bread, eggs and other food to ensure I was well looked after on arrival. Super helpful and went over and above to ensure it was a great stay. Easy self check in, great WIFI, the place has everything you need and was extremely clean and tidy. The home is in the best location, with local cafe's, food stores, parks and beach all within 5-10mins walk. Thanks Henry!!

Extremely happy with the accommodation and Sandy was fabulous - she checked in regularly and welcomed us via message on arrival and gave well wishes after we left. Really lovely, private place even though they live above. Recommend Sandy and her accommodation very highly and would definitely stay again if back in that area. We had a gorgeous stay at the barn. My two sons and I had activities planned all weekend but ended up relaxing in the spa looking at the stars, walking around the lovely farm and playing board games in the barn instead of leaving, we would have loved to have stayed longer. We left feeling very peaceful. Chelsea was a wonderful host and we adored the animals we visited or visited us. Thanks so much for having us and we will definitely be back. 😊
