Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bishopston

Had a great stay in this lovely spacious house in central Bristol. With its homely 'rural aesthetic' it makes for the ideal urban retreat where you can have the best of both worlds. It has a delightful cottage style garden that catches morning sun on a patio. This is where I enjoyed cups of tea to start the day! It's clean, well equipped and comfortable. Situated on a friendly seeming cul-de-sac with a cycle track that runs behind the garden into the city. A local train station is only a 15 minute walk or so. I ate some great local food on St Marks road where there are plenty of diverse options - shops and restaurants. Jenny the host left clear instructions and responded promptly to messages. I recommend staying here and would like to return. Many thanks

Great place right by Blaise Castle grounds, easy access to Bristol and Cribbs for shopping or walking around. Very clean house, great spaces to relax, would definately recommend

A great house in a very central location. So convenient for everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We visited Bristol for an open Uni day and decided to make a family weekend out of it. Ciara's house is very cosy with comfy beds, a lovely fireplace and everything you may need for a couple of days. We had a great time exploring the pubs the first night and cooking on the second evening. Parking was super easy and free. Ciara responded immediately to messages and was very easy going. The whole experience was super relaxed. Thank you!

Jill’s house is a beautiful, warm and welcoming. The walled garden is glorious and the local area is quiet and quaint. Within walking distance to the centre of Bath and with Jill’s helpful instructions, communication, friendliness and recommendations we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much!

What a fun period style home on two levels! You feel like you’ve stepped back in time. A large apartment within easy walking access to town. The kitchen boasts a table that seats 10 and is bright and airy. A washer and dryer near the downstairs two bedrooms is a huge plus. The bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The shower curtain in the deep tub was our only challenge as it wants to stick to you. The Paragon was once part of the elite sections of town. And it is complete with a garden for casual sitting. The views out the back kitchen/sitting room windows overlooks the beautiful hills and Georgian buildings. Such a perfectly preserved town of beautiful Bath limestone with a golden patina. Walk anywhere in town in ten minutes with few steep slopes. I found i loved sitting, reading and enjoying a cake and coffee in Waterstone’s Bookstore in the afternoon at their upstairs cafe. If you are coming to Bath do read Douglas Westcott’s Go Swift And Far.

First time in Bath, UK and Helen’s place was the perfect introduction to the city. Located across from the beautiful green park, just at the cusp of the beautiful city. Apartment was clean and warm. There was a book of very clear instructions that made the stay hassle free. Helen included local recommendations of places to visit and eat at. So convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit bath! Great job Helen!

Great place. Right in the middle of the city.

Katrina met us as soon as we arrived and showed us to the apartment, it was very clean and well stocked with all you need for a few days. Beautiful garden that you can sit in and so peaceful. Would highly recommend. Local taxi service was brilliant, didn't have to wait long for them to arrive.

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

A+. Five stars. Total perfection. We absolutely loved staying here and will book again. The view is everything. The warmest breeze comes through the windows and I could look at those views forever. The beds were high quality, great linens, really nice kitchen. Good responsive Host. Clean building and super walkable. I really don’t know what to say other than I will definitely be booking this place again.
