Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bristol

Stayed here as we had an event on in Bristol, was exactly like the pictures and as described. Very spacious which was nice. Also the communication throughout was very good. Would recommend

Great location with walking distance to the city. The property had all the facilities needed and fitted our party of 5 perfectly. Tammi and her crew were easy to communicate with. Overall a great experience!

The stay at Sandy’s was everything and more. Hosts were very responsive and made everything easy. Everything was clean and as described. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others .

Lovely place, great location and stylish. Mon handbook but responsive host. Only things to improve upon are we ran out of hand soap, missing towel for the baby, and no carpet on stairs / minor maintenance works being done which we didn’t know about beforehand. Expensive but bristol is!

This house was fantastic, it suited the needs of two couples., spacious and well appointed. The garden was an absolute pleasure to sit in after a hard days sightseeing. Jenny could not do enough for us, her communication was top rate. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay in Bristol at Flora’s flat. Was exactly as described, was actually a lot bigger than the pictures made out which was a lovely surprise! Nice interior & had everything you need. Including a very comfortable king size bed, which I did not want to get out of! Great stay & lovely hosts, would definitely book again😊 (The only thing I would say is if you struggle to walk or have small children, the stairs down to the flat are quite steep & narrow.) Otherwise everything was fab!

We were 7 people: three couples in the 3 bedrooms and myself on the sofa bed in the sitting room, which was perfectly comfortable for one person

The best Airbnb experience to date. Rebecca is truly the most wonderful host. Friendly, kind and very communicative, we couldn’t have asked for more. The lovely flat is just fabulous. Close to everything we needed, cosy and clean, gorgeous views and in a really beautiful neighborhood. We had an extended stay, and my daughter especially was very sad to leave. A true home away from home. A massive thank you to Rebecca and TJ…. You really went above and beyond.

A very comfortable, clean and cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood but at the same time close to streets with restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. An ideal place to visit Bristol.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

Very enjoyable stay. Jan and team were very responsive throughout our stay. The villa was fantastic, beautiful rooms, spacious and lovely view over the lake. Would definitely consider coming again in the future, and the family all loved the place!

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We had a wonderful time at this house on the Lower Mill Estate. Everything was as described. It was a very well-equipped house with everything we needed for our stay with our 10 month old. Our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and got it sorted ASAP. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back again.
