Beachfront holiday rentals in Black Head

Loved every minute of our stay! The house was stocked with everything we could have needed, bbq, beach and paddle boards for the bay. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Our stay at Tallowood cottage was lovely. The cottage was better than pictured. The bed in the main bedroom was probably the best bed we have slept in for an Airbnb. The house was roomy and comfortable. Unfortunately we stayed during an East Coast low and the backyard turned into a swimming pool so it was difficult for our dog to use. We just used the front yard instead. So great to have a dog friendly comfortable property so close to a dog beach. Susan and her team were extremely responsive to our communications and let us extend our stay until the road home had reopened after the floods a bit further south. Would definitely come back and stay again!

We had a great experience. The place was lovely and clean, with beautiful water views that made the stay even more relaxing. There was plenty of space, which made it perfect for unwinding and feeling at home. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious getaway.

I'm from Germany and if I read "Villa", I expect more than a big bungalow with just basics. The amenities like the buttons for the spa need replacing, the stove wasn't in best shape either as you need to light it up with a lighter, which is provided. The main bedroom with the large bed was in fact two single mattresses put together, not so nice to sleep on the hard edge when cuddling your partner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chill-Out cottage. Check-in was super easy. It’s a great property for families with dogs. The dog friendly One Mile beach is just around the corner, our doggies were thrilled. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. There are books, games, puzzles for rainy days and we enjoyed watching Binge and Netflix in the evenings. We will definitely return.

A fabulous home in a beautiful location! Claudia was a wonderful host and offered early check in and late check out which was really appreciated as we were moving to a new house in the area and staying in this Airbnb home for a short break whilst waiting for our furniture to arrive. Diamond Daze caters wonderfully with a well appointed kitchen, spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms as well as a fully fenced yard that our dogs loved. The home fronts onto Diamond beach and access is via a side gate and short walk to a beautiful beach that is dog friendly - super convenient! You feel immediately on holidays when you walk through the home and see the view from the verandah! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful mini-holiday at Piccola Positano, despite the weather not being great. We found Tom and Liz's place even nicer than in the photos, which is rare, and absolutely loved listening to the sound of the ocean from the front porch. So relaxing! The place was clean and tidy, the beds were really comfy, the pool was huge and the garden was lovely. Sunset there was beautiful. The beach is just a very short stroll down the front yard but if you don't want to have to go through the prickly grass, you can drive there in about 30 seconds (or walk along the street and be there in a few minutes). The cafe Tom and Liz recommended was delicious, and again just a short drive or walk away. The local pub also served good food. Taree and Forster are about a 30 minute drive. We highly recommend!!

Narelle’s place is situated perfectly 2 mins walk from beautiful Little Beach and other attractions/activities in this area of Port Stephens. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may possibly need as well as games and rackets for the tennis court. Parking was available on site. Additionally Narelle was quick to respond to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend Narelle’s place. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Amazing host and excellent property with Pool and Jacuzzi are spot on highlights of the property. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice property, good view of the beach and short walk. Well spaced out and each room with it own bathroom. The beach is a nice walk and the sand dune on the hill is fun. Recommended for a week wind down away from work......

We had a great time. This house is in a fantastic location - amazing views, easy ) (But uphill) walk to one mile beach, and practically across the road from Burgess beach. Main bedroom is incredibly spacious. House felt big even with 8 people, lots of spaces and places to be. Kitchen was well appointed and big, great bbq and outdoor table setting. Had big and easy laundry facilities. Massive garage with lots of space There are lots of steps and it is a split level house. This is clear in the listing but worth knowing if accessibility is a challenge for you. The photos are accurate. It’s a nice quiet neighbourhood. Steve and Sandra were very responsive and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay, amazing views of lighthouse beach and all the amenities you could need. The kids loved all the toys and games plus the pool! If we head back to Port Mac we would love to stay here again!

Beautifully appointed apartment and very comfortable for our group of 3. Perfect location right by the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Terry was excellent with instructions and communications, easy to enter and exit. We look forward our next visit.

Perfect house for our family visit. The location was great with The Flow Bar 500m away, direct beach access and fantastic Thai at Naga Thai. The house was well equipped and well layed out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was absolutely beautiful, with a breathtaking view that made the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was peaceful, cozy, and had everything we needed to unwind. Russell and Carolyn were such lovely and welcoming hosts — they truly made us feel at home. We would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape in a stunning setting.

Nicole and Lauren's place is in a great location if you want to get away from it all. Right on the beach, we went swimming, walking (on both the beach and in the forest) and exploring every day. We loved coming back to the house each time as well. The multiple spaces meant that my teenagers could have their own space, I could have an adult space but we could all then come together for dinner, movies and games. The shops nearby in Blackhead have everything you need and is only a 5 minute drive away. We had a fantastic week with a lot fun memories.

We had a short and enjoyable stay at Renee’s place. Loved that it was right in front of the beach and so close to shops! Would definitely come back the next time we come to Port Stephen’s :)

The house was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby cove was fun to paddle in on the stand up paddle boards provided, with a short walk to the shore. North Arm Cove is a peaceful suburb and there are some fire trails through the bush behind the house, but no coastal walks. The kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking very easy. We had fun using the billiard table and car racing simulator. It is a 20 minute drive to Coles, surf beaches, and excellent restaurants in Tea Gardens.
