Susannah made us feel so welcome and we really enjoyed our stay at the Bothy. It was a great base to venture around central Scotland, and was incredibly private and peaceful as a place to recharge.

Our stay at the Coach House was absolutely perfect! From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. Tim s place is beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, and I loved having a cup of coffee and breakfast in the kitchen overlooking the scenic view. The place was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. Tim was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing detailed instructions on check-in and meeting us just as we arrived and then before we left. Felt like talking to a friend I ve known for years. That's how much Tim makes his guests feel welcome. He took time to explain things and even lit the fireplace for us and arranged for us to use the sofabed too so we'll be more comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring the Highlands but also very peaceful for a quiet retreat. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing escape far from bustling city life immersed in nature.

Hidden gem doesn’t begin to describe the Cairnhill Lodge. Elaine and Cameron have gone above and beyond to meet EVERY need before you’ll need it. Extremely private, extremely clean, extremely detailed and the most premier location that many overlook. As a family of three with a toddler we felt instant comfort just walking in the door that lasted until we said goodbye 5 days later. The love and time that has been put into this lodge by the hosts is shown in EVERY aspect, from the gardening, to the decor and complimentary products, and things you didn’t know you wanted in an Airbnb but now you’ll want in every Airbnb. As travel enthusiasts, Elaine and Cameron have exceptional knowledge of the area and will give prime recommendations for whatever adventure you’re looking for. This lodge has given my family lasting memories and we will be making a stop here every time we visit Scotland. This lodge has my highest recommendation; it’s a level of peace you need to experience.

The cottage is very quiet and you don't notice anything from the farm. You are regularly greeted in the morning by deer, which you can see from the kitchen. Sheep and cows graze at the front. Wonderful! The wood-burning stove rounds off the ambience and makes a cosy evening in the living room a lovely end to a day in the Cairngorms. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the accommodation to others.
