The property is close to downtown Newport & ideally located between three beaches. The cozy unit has a queen bed, full bath & kitchenette with coffee maker, fridge, and toaster oven. There is a small deck with ocean views, access to ocean front, outdoor shower and off street parking. We provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella and towels.

Getaway Suite

We are located high on Mott hill in the center of the island. It's about 2 miles to both harbors. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. We are located near the island airport so small private planes come and go during the day but it is usually very quiet at night. Many of our guests say watching the planes is one of their favorite things. This spot is ideal for visitors who like to retreat to a quieter space at the end of a long day at the beach or an evening on the town.

Historic Mitchell Cottage (Unit A)

Welcome to historic Mitchell Cottage! Just a ten minute walk from Old Harbor (ferry, restaurants, beaches). This unit is on the second floor and features two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a spacious common area, kitchen and beautiful outdoor space on two private decks. The main floor of the home is owner occupied-- your hosts are year round Block Islanders who are happy to give you tips on enjoying your stay on one of the most beautiful places on earth!

Private entryway to an airy suite with large master bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, bunk room, and sun-deck with views of Block Island Sound. Situated off the main road, Mermaid House is a quiet getaway from town, a ten minute drive to all of Block Island's beautiful bathing beaches. Walking distance to rocky Cooneymus beach and the Nature Conservancy’s Greenway trails.
