Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Blue Ridge Mountains

What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

Beautiful spot! We didn’t want to leave! It was a wonderful few days relaxing and enjoying nature.

This is a beautiful home tucked into a peaceful little corner of the mountains. The house has all of the basics covered. The waterfalls in front of the house are beautiful and provide a constant white noise that I found to be very peaceful. However, the roar is surprisingly loud. The home is very automated (Alexa to control the lights, motioned sensing trash can, etc.) which I guess can be a pro or a con depending on preference. We especially loved all of the deck space! And I loved all of the windows that brought in a ton of natural light.

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

Our stay at the Green Creek Shipyard was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we need.. a peaceful relaxing getaway! Our 2 highlights were the daybed by the waterfall and the front porch swing! And the indoor space was extremely functional and well-designed!! 1000% recommend staying here!!

Will be coming back to this space!! So beautiful, every detail and amenity was available and thought through. Felt right at home & was able to bring the pups! We forgot a water bowl & Lindsey had one ready for us when we got there with plenty of paw towels and doggie bags!! Also, expect a pretty steep driveway! We have a 4-WD and AWD vehicle and had little to no problems. Thank you to Lindsey for offering this amazing space !

Nick is an absolutely wonderful host, and the house is just beyond incredible. The view is AMAZING, and you can see the attention to detail all over the home as well. The smore kit and fire starters were so thoughtful too! Thank you Nick for an incredible stay and a wonderful menory 🙏 I will most definitely be back. The sunset is a must see as well from the deck!!!!

This was one of my best Airbnb experiences (and I had many). Traci’s spot is perfect for a couple or solo. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful surrounding. Easy to find. And the inside is perfect for travelers - everything is thought through, every detail, from the spoon for the creamer to the cosy rug for the feet by the bed which made me feel very taken care of during our stay. The bed is super comfortable. The space is very nicely decorated. I felt like I was at a cool gallery. Thank you, Traci, for hosting us!

Beverly was very pleasant and friendly and greeted us when we arrived. The accommodations were beautiful. The room is clean and tidy. She supplied a lot of items in the kitchen and bathroom. It's a perfect get away for a couple interested in lying back and enjoying nature. The area was very private and quite. Restaurants are a short drive away. Upon leaving, we spoke with Beverly again and she thanked us for coming and invited us to come again. We will definitely book it again just to get away for a few days to relax. we celebrated our 10 yr anniversary. we wanted seclusion and peace and thats what we got! the indoor pool is connected to your room the giant windows allowed for a clear view of the beautiful surroundings. pool was super clean and well maintained the hot tub was the same. Sandy is an incredible host and we have plans of returning every yr to celebrate our anniversary ❤️

Susan’s place was quiet, clean, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our dog crates inside as well as a backyard and neighborhood for us to walk with our puppies! The sectional was great for movie watching at the end of a day exploring!

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

Great place beautiful property

My husband and I spent an extended weekend in Waxhaw for a family event. This rental was absolutely perfect in every way! We were less than a mile from our family, the location was private, secluded and beautiful. The rental was just stunning, from the building itself down to every little decor detail inside. The space was clean and inviting. After long activity filled days, this was the perfect quiet retreat. Nestled in the woods with cozy outdoor seating, it was the perfect way to end a day. The inside was immaculate. The linens were fresh and there were plenty of towels available. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the mini split kept the place comfortable no matter how hot or humid the outside was. We are already looking forward to booking again on our next trip down! As a bonus, we found Cane Creek Park just minutes away and spent two days there fishing! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to immerse oneself in natural surroundings. This place was just as picture perfect as the pictures plus so much more!!! Falling asleep to the rising of the moon to waking up in the clouds the next morning when the sun broke through. Yes, we saw fireflies! and colorful birds nesting amongst the trees. It was like living in a tree house being there. Easy and close access to town. You can spend your time in town exploring or less than an hour away visit an award winning winery. Then home to watch the evening sky settle in for the night. We feel asleep at night to rain dancing on the rooftop. Just a lovely place all the way around. Thanks you for sharing your home with us! This was our first time staying at an AirBnB and will not be our last. We were impressed! Paula’s SheShed was amazing! The view alone was worth it, you feel as if you are on top of the world. The SheShed is rustic looking but that is all that is rustic. It has everything you could ever want and Paula made sure you knew where everything was. She even went as far as leaving us a bottle of wine, glasses and a card from a local winery since she knew we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The place is clean, very well appointed. There is even wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows which is something I’m picky about to my Husbands frustration, lol! If you are going to just relax, explore the area or just vegetate for a few days this is the perfect place. It is quiet and relaxing. Sparta and Mt Airy aren’t far if you need more.

We absolutely loved our stay at Black Hollow! The process of checking in and out was a breeze and we were able to communicate with them as needed without difficulty. The attention to detail in this home was breathtaking!!! You had everything you needed at the property should you not choose to leave. They even accommodated a slightly later check out which was most appreciated. We look forward to returning to this property! Many thanks!

We had a beautiful anniversary here. the surroundings were beautiful, and the space was fun.

This was one of my favorite stays! It was the cutest cabin with all the right things indoor and outdoor. Everything I needed was there, I felt at home. We got a personalized gift and card, I felt like they knew us and were happy we were there. We spent our honeymoon there and it was soooo worth it! I would definitely stay again!! They were so nice and responsive, such a great experience!

We had a great stay at Christina’s cabin! The landscaping and views were so dreamy and relaxing! We enjoyed coffee on the porch rocking chairs in the mornings and cocktails on the swing and in the hot tub in the evenings! The bed was seriously SO comfortable and my husband and I slept better than we ever have! The drive to downtown Gatlinburg is about 25min and Smoky Mountain National Park is anywhere from 30-60min away depending on which trail you’re planning to visit. We hiked both Alum Cave and Andrew’s Bald, both of which were light to moderately challenging and had some beautiful views! If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the Smoky’s, look no further!

Meredith's place was a great spot for our extended weekend stay! Very close to town, hiking and other activities. Very private and quiet. We stayed in every night and the kitchen had about any utensil, gadget and appliance you can dream of. We had a starter pack for the outdoor fireplace, the gas for the fire place in the living room was turned off we were told in the warmer month. The hot tub is right outside the master bedroom and it was running all night, so if you are a light sleeper that may bothering to some people. Other than that, a very comfortable, modern and cozy place to stay!
