The rice trap in Åre municipality is a paradise both in summer and winter. Bright and nice summer evenings around the fire pit, snowmobile and winter activities in winter. Kallsjön is located just outside the living room window, with possibility of fishing. Hunting terrain in the hills and mountains all around. Amazing view out to the sea and Åreskutan. 12km to Järpen city center Possibility of cross country skiing in light trail, swimming pool and Curlinghall. 19 km to Huså, 30 km to Åre/Bjørnen, which is known for its slalom slopes.

If you want to go by bus, you get down to the stop at E14. You can bring skis or boards on the bus. In addition to skiing and cycling, you can go hiking, fishing, dog sledding, snowmobile rentals and many other activities. The exit location is perfect for tours of the surrounding mountains, regardless of the season. You are never far from skiing trips, alpine skiing, hiking, cycling, paddling or fishing.
