Stayed in the ground floor of a 2 level villa. Although it is not new, or quite old fashioned, but it is not run down. Beds are of Icelandic standard and comfortable. The only thing that can improve is the barely useful window shades when there is almost no night time. Eye mask is a must. Can’t complain at this price.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great stop in our ring road trip. The view is amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from being able to cook dinner in the gorgeous farmhouse kitchen to relaxing with some TV after a long day. A major highlight was visiting the horses on the farm. Having a washer and dryer was super helpful. Great location to visit some of the popular locations on the West side of the country. My husband said it’s one of his favorite airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your farm with us. We plan to visit Iceland again and would love to stay here again.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und man hielt uns im dazugehörigen Restaurant sogar Suppe warm, obwohl wir erst ankamen, als das Restaurant eigentlich zumachte. Vielen Dank dafür! Die Pilzsuppe war grandios!!! Unbedingt probieren! :-) Das Zimmer war nicht, wie angegeben, mit einer Couch, sondern einem Sessel ausgestattet und wir fanden auch keinen Kühlschrank. Aber es war modern, übertraf definitiv unsere Erwartungen eines einfachen Zimmers und wir waren positiv überrascht :-) Eine tolle Unterkunft!

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

Absolutely beautiful setting, quiet & peaceful. Great, clean, comfortable apartment. Very spacious, great kitchen. Owner was super friendly, introduced us to his beautiful horses, shared interesting stories, it felt like home. Highly recommend!
