My modest and welcoming home, which I share, offers guests the means to relax, eat and, above all, rest. The room is large, very quiet and comfortable with its queen size bed, tea or coffee corner and desk facing the window. The bathroom is nice and functional. The living room and kitchen are also at their disposal for quick cooking… the south-facing terrace and garden offer them the opportunity to eat outside or sunbathe on the terrace. Finally, all the ingredients are there for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Gîte de l'Abbaye d'Etrun and its green park

The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

Un petit havre de paix pour les voyageurs en solo, les couples, les voyageurs d'affaires ou les familles jusque 4 personnes. La fôret se trouve à quelques minutes de marche de la maison. Vous accéderez au centre-ville et ses commerces à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous avons mis tout notre coeur dans la rénovation de cette maison, et nous espérons que vous y passerez un bon séjour!

Vous serez séduit par sa chambre, équipée d'un lit king size douillet, d'un téléviseur à écran plat connecté est également à votre disposition pour vos moments détente. Depuis la fenêtre, profitez d'une vue plongeante sur le jardin exposé plein sud, offrant calme et sérénité tout au long du séjour. L'appartement dispose d'une kitchinette, d'une salle de d'eau avec toilette. Le logement est climatisé.
