A beautiful building restoration combining the modern with the old. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay there!

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Quinta Pedro & Inês is a very special nook: a farm with all the amenities a family may want: private pool, barbecue and outdoor dining space, fruit trees, hammocks and loungers and lots of fresh air, silence and space for contemplation. The house is very well equipped and the children's room is a place of fun with lots of games and books and a kind of mezzanine where you can get lost in play safely. It's been a magical couple of days and we'll certainly be back!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

This was a wonderful stay that offers you the best of both worlds. A quaint, peaceful rural home yet driveable to bigger tourist areas. Jose was such a welcoming host and we appreciated our arrival treats and his graciousness even with our late arrival. The history to the home is unique and adds another layer of warmth to the stay. The home was clean and the beds comfy. The shower had good pressure and a good supply of hot water. It has a functional kitchen as well as a grill outside that we made good use of. The pool was absolutely lovely after a long day of touring. We enjoyed evening games of euchre in the loft area but note that even if you aren’t tall, remember to duck as there’s a low beam. We highly recommend this stay and would return without hesitation!

We had an amazing time here! Gorgeous views, lovely spacious and well set-up apartment but most of all the best hosts, Cristina was extremely helpful and welcoming, offering home baked cookies even! Additionally, Bruno as well as his parents were kind and welcoming. We tasted the farm’s wines and were happily surprised. The pool is amazing, the setting is most serene. We drove to the Douro river to visit some wineries and the drive is lovely. I can’t fault this place. Hopefully coming back soon!

We liked it very much. The photos match reality. Alexandra responded promptly to all requests. A beautiful, quiet countryside area, close to a river beach. Oliveira's house is impeccable, it reflects good taste, cleanliness, the bed is well made. We'll be back for sure.

The truth is that as soon as you get to the house, you are impressed by how well everything is designed. You are in a rural house where there is no lack of detail and I loved the mix of the old house and the modernity of the furniture... The room is beautiful, large and above all it is wonderful to have a bathroom at the foot of the bed! Everything was very clean and tidy. I loved the location, in the middle of the village.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Milhão. The place was even better than the photos—warm, cozy, and truly inviting. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The property was beautiful. We arrived early and they rushed to clean everything. We were offered the property with the jacuzzi, and there were all the necessary amenities for our baby: high chair, toys, bed… the jacuzzi in front of the large windows was an unforgettable experience. Central location for exploring the Douro. All our needs were met, we were offered port and local fruits. It is obvious that these people care about the well-being of their guests, we recommend it without hesitation.

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Excellent stay in Portuguese village with lovely neighbors. Very old Portuguese house but with that traditional and homey cariz. Their lovely hosts, waited for us until our late arrival with rich desserts, bread, homemade oil ( very rich), fruit, sausages.....all with a nice bouquet of flowers. Very clean and cared for beds. Upstairs full bathroom and downstairs small toilet. Very well stocked kitchen with numerous utensils. Free WiFi. In short, small but very cozy casita, close to numerous tourist attractions. Absolute silence for a unique rest. Beware of access roads, narrow and curved.

Beautiful home located in a small village but close to everything . Lake Azibo for hiking, Macedo de Cavaleiro for refueling, everything you need for a very nice stay. We did not regret our choice . Let's recommend it without hesitation

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! This place is a dream! If you are coming to portugal this is the perfect little hideaway. Ana Maria made us feel right at home and everything was in perfect condition. We used to stay at Pena Park Hotel which is also great but now that we’ve found Ana Maria’s little heaven, we will look to return whenever we come back to visit my Avô again. Obrigada por tudo Ana! This place is absolutely amazing — it exceeded all our expectations! In real life, it looks even better than in the photos. Getting there was very easy, and there’s a large parking area right on the property, so we felt totally safe leaving our car. The views from the rooms and the living area are simply unreal — breathtaking. Inside, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful — very responsive and helpful, and arranging check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The entire property is stunning and well cared for. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Douro!

José Antonio is an absolutely friendly and helpful person. There was coffee and lots of spices, oil, etc. He explained hiking trails to us, was always available, parking in front of the house. You could eat outside and it was just awesome! Thank you so much for having us. We love Spain and now: much more!!!!

Beautiful view of the Douro, easy to reach from the train station, climb was a bit exhausting, but the view was worth it.

Olivier was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations of all sorts (food, trips, events, wine,..) and they even brought me fresh tea (herbs and fruits) from their garden for me to brew! The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed and simply great to be at.

We went for a few days a group of 6 adults and 6 children/babies. The host made it very easy for us to check in and check out, in addition to being available for any questions. The house is very large, with spacious spaces for children. We matched bad weather so we couldn't enjoy much of the outdoor area, but we were able to do a barbecue since it's covered, plus the house was very warm and cozy. Very good overall cleanliness and comfortable beds. The kitchenware is a bit dated, but it's enough. Both the host and the people in the village of Soeima are super nice and helpful. Repeat experience!
