Ron & Mindy , This is Al Stender we had a great time in your place the new deck looked great we sat on it and had a few drinks. Your wi-fi service and new tv was awesome , we watched the NBA playoff game every night. For me BORING ! But the fishing was great , crappie were fired up also bass were alot of fun too ! We really enjoyed our stay at Lindsay's --a convenient walking distance from several great places to eat in Ironton and just a few minutes' ride from excellent MTB trails!

We had an amazing time at this lake house. Homey, peaceful atmosphere with great views. Great kitchen with good quality appliances and a stocked pantry. The beds were all very comfortable and the sheets were high quality. Excellent shower and soft towels too. We caught fish right off the dock too. We are already planning our next visit!

We loved the little house. It was cozy and had everything we needed. It is 2 blocks from the grocery store and 3 blocks from the downtown. They except pets with approval. We will definitely be coming here again. We had lots of fun biking the local trails. The only comment I have is that with older guests, a slip resistant mat in the shower would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Thank You, Joe and Kelly Sobanski

What a lovely home and beautiful surroundings!! It was very homey and comfortable for our group of 4 on a girlfriend weekend get-a-way - the kitchen and dining area were perfect to spend cooking and eating together! And with it being winter, it was fun to have a bonfire down by the frozen lake! Our host, Donna, was quick to respond and very helpful with whatever we needed. Our group would return in a heart beat!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Dream Island! The finished garage was awesome and the heated floors in lower level bathroom were amazing with the cold weather during our stay. The layout of the house was unique and provided nice-sized common areas complimented with good separation of very spacious bedrooms for privacy. There were a few minor things that didn't work or were damaged but they didn't impact the quality of our stay whatsoever. Other than those few minor items (which the owner/broken said were planned to be fixed), everything was clean and well taken care of.

We had a wonderful week at John’s cabin! The cabin had everything we needed and more - no detail was overlooked! We were so comfortable and relaxed our entire stay. The kids enjoyed the beach and private dock. Many fish were caught (mainly perch and sunnies). There was a bonus green grass space for the kids to run and play catch, etc. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire and relaxing on the amazing rocking chairs on the deck. The cabin is a short drive from all the main area attractions and Baxter is right down the road when we needed the suburban comfort shopping. ;) We rented a pontoon on Gull Lake, went hiking around a nearby trout stream, went to the zoo, Ernie’s and Pirate’s Adventure Golfing. When asked what the favorite part of the trip was, our kids said “being at the cabin.” We hope to make it an annual tradition!

It was a perfect place for our weekend get together. Can’t wait to try it out again next year!

The view the view the view!! We enjoyed the amazing sunsets, large grass area to play outdoors, skipping rocks down on the rock beach, and especially having a private fire pit on the patio was fantastic!!! The furniture was very comfortable to watch movies on the large tv. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to make meals and gather around the large table sharing stories and playing several of the board games. Ellie was very quick to response to any question we had. The pool was closed during our stay, but we definitely would have used it. We rented a pontoon and had a blast with that too! We'd rent here again :)

Beautiful location. Great accommodation and closer to the wedding we were attending in Hill City than were hotels in Grand Rapids. Very clean. Loved it!

A lovely lakeside stay on Gull Lake. Fun to walk over to Ernie’s for drinks and dinner. Would love to return in the summer to enjoy the Adirondack Chairs and fire pit on the beach.

We had a great time. Sadly we had to leave the fish in the lake they just did not want to come home with us!

Maria was a great host! Very quick to respond with any questions we had. The home is beautifully decorated and feels so homey! Great place!! Will definitely be back!!

The place was exactly as described in the posting. Our stay was very relaxing with plenty of stuff for the kids to do on the property while the parents got to kick back and relax.

This cabin was wonderful for our family to have a nice long weekend together. The kitchen had more amenities and higher quality cookware than we had expected and helped us have some great family meals. A perfect sized cabin for the eight of us! Would absolutely stay again!

This lake home is outstanding! Extremely clean, comfortable, and private. We caught a lot of bluegill and some bass off the dock, and our dog loved swimming in the lake. The owner also provided a great recommendation for a pontoon rental, which was the highlight of the trip! We will definitely be back in the future.

Our large group of guys had an amazing stay at this beautiful guest house tucked away in the peaceful countryside just outside of Pine River. The home itself was unique and full of character, and the outdoor spaces were just as impressive—perfect for relaxing and taking in the fresh air. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely stunning and added something special to each day. Carol and Chaz were excellent hosts—welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

We loved the tiny cute a-frame cabins! Saw lots of wildlife. Perfect for our mountain biking and kayaking adventures. Beautiful, peaceful location. nice sharded bathroom. Great hammock:) Just be aware there is no blind on door so it is see through and very bright in the morning! Highly recommend❤️

A hidden gem! Goodrich lake is a peaceful spot. The cabin is only a few steps away from the lake providing a wonderful view.

This place had it all! The space inside and out was functional and perfect! I especially loved the backyard and so did my dogs! The privacy fence was great! I was grateful for the K-cups of coffee, and having a washer/dryer was SO helpful! We had one adult, two teenagers, and a 10yo. There was plenty of space and we were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and fully stocked. I would love to stay again someday!

Stacys place was Beautiful & perfect for this past weekend. we brought our 2 dogs who fully enjoyed the outdoors, the cabin was spacious even w/ 6 of us there. we took advantage of the fire pit, and bbq, also brought our SxS(side by side) up, theres a couple trails, drivable 20-40min away. able to drive out & come back a few times daily. The beach was nice and sandy, to bad the weather was a bit cooler! Stacy was very responsive w/ answer questions we had, and all the kids definitely enjoyed the relaxed stay! Definitely staying here again. Thank you so much!

We spent the weekend at the Honey Hole for a guys’ fishing trip, and it was perfect. The house and location were phenomenal—right on the lake, so you only have to step onto the deck to enjoy that true “on the lake” feeling. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We had a fantastic weekend—and it didn’t hurt that the fish were biting!
