Beautiful thatched cottage annex with ensuite bedroom and living room/snug with an old piano. There is a shop, pub, park and walks such as The Jurassic Way. There is a daily bus service to Banbury and Daventry and from Banbury there is a train service for Oxford, London and Birmingham. Shakspeare's Stratford Upon Avon, Cropredy Festival and Silverstone are a short drive away. There is a plaque on the village hall to commemorate singer/songwriter Sandy Denny from the band Fairport Convention.

A charming, cosy self contained one bedroom cottage situated adjacent to our home & sharing the drive. The bedroom can be made up as a twin or s/king sized double, please tell us in advance which you’d prefer. (Last minute bookings with less than 48 hours notice will not have the option to request this, sorry). (Air bed for 3rd guest. ) Pets are welcome but there is no space to let them off the lead as the patio area isn’t enclosed so you will need to take them for a walk. Lockbox self check in.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this edge of village location, very close to the Grand Union Canal in the picturesque village of Braunston. Come and see what makes this part of Northamptonshire so special! Fabulous country dog walks along the canal towpath from the end of the drive. Just a short walk from several village and canalside pub restaurants. The village has a general store and post office, and an award winning butchers. Our comfortable barn is the perfect base to explore the area.

Various lovely canal and country walks. Free on street parking and well behaved dogs welcome ( max 2) I live locally on a narrowboat and will be available to assist if needed.

Number 42 has two double bedrooms, a lovely modern kitchen with a Ringmaster double oven and modern facilities. With an open plan design the kitchen leads straight into a comfortable lounge area with two seater sofas and a large table for dining. Both bedrooms have tv's and wardrobe space. Oil central heating, downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom. We are in the centre of Braunston next to the village shop, the butchers, pubs & the Grand Union canal which is a short walk away.
