Chestnut Lodge is situated in an acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, originally the cow barns on the farm. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated one of the cow barns to the Lodge adding all the original character with salvaged exposed oak beams throughout and furnished to a luxury standard. In the heart of the village, the cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Grade II listed 18th Century building of brick and flint previously owned by the Earl of Leicester. It is set well back from the road with a good-sized front garden with parking for 2 cars and a lime shaded, south facing terrace at the back with views over the Nar valley. Recent high end quartz work top kitchen fitted . Has both washing machine and dishwasher. Dog friendly for up to two dogs,but garden not enclosed.
