The Dog House

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at The Doghouse, a perfect weekend getaway and just what we needed. Situated in the countryside, it is a very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by fields and nature. The place is very spacious, with lovely decor and furnishings and very well equipped. Added bonus of a balcony to enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine overlooking the lovely views. The place was easy to find and check in was simple and Natacha always responded to any questions in good time. The information Natacha sent for places to see and eat etc was greatly appreciated and helpful. We will definitely look to return sometime soon!

Lantern Cottage Garden Studio

PaulaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just returned from a two day break at this beautiful studio. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Met Trisha who was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast items were included (crumpets, cereals, tea, coffee, milk, butter, jam and orange juice) which were a lovely touch. The garden area was fenced and very safe for our ten month old puppy and she had fun meeting Trisha’s cat and two dogs through the fence! We went to Rye, Camber Sands and Winchelsea beach which were all around a ten minute drive away. We had takeaways from Oriental Delight (Chinese) and Diamond Koz (Turkish) in Rye which were delicious. Would highly recommend this studio and hope to return soon!

Pickdick Stable

We (myself, wife and our 3 month old), were looking for a peaceful break from the city, and we found it. Fantastic accommodation, an incredibly peaceful spot and a perfect base for exploring this part of Sussex. Nick and Sarah were great hosts, some lovely touches made us feel welcome and at home. We will be back. Thank you.

Little Two Bed Cottage Near Rye

The property was absolutely lovely - was so clean and beautiful. It’s opposite a stunning view with beautiful nature. The tennis court and rackets were great fun, the kitchen has everything you need and Kendra was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and private, and very well situated for Rye and Hastings. Couldn’t recommend enough!

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!

Oak Meadow

MikeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by rolling countryside and vineyards and lovely inside. It’s got a lovely country casual feel and is really charming and it felt like home. The owners were available by phone and we were able to share a slight problem with them. It’s managed by Sykes and their communication was pretty generic. But we had a great time in a wonderful setting.

Dogwood Yurt

Very beautiful yurt, we were able to keep warm and cozy despite the cold weather thanks to the wood stove and heater. Nice location for walks and a trip to Hastings.
