You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. This custom mid-century style home (an original Jordan River residence) is tucked in amongst 2 acres of rainforest and beautifully landscaped food gardens. Our unique Westcoast hideaway features wrap-around decks for sun all day, a woodstove, radiant floor heating, and a covered bar for hosting. A short walk down our private trail will have you at the ocean for breathtaking sunsets. We are walking distance to K2 beach, China Beach, and Jordan River beach (with the Cold shoulder cafe).

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.
