Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Brookings

This home was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The porch was so nice to sit out on and enjoy the peacefulness of the quiet little town. Was nice to unwind after busy days running around site seeing. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Would certainly stay here again.

We’ve stayed at quite a few Air B and B’s around the world, and this was without a doubt one of the most beautiful, places that we have ever had the pleasure of staying! The out door deck area and landscaped fire pit/sitting area is absolutely gorgeous! Sitting at hilltop height, we could view the beach as well as near by hills with ever changing clouds, hawks, humming birds etc, that made being outside an amazing experience! The cabin was not only very comfortable, but also contained a lot of thoughtful, clever interior design features. This location comes with our highest recommendation!

Great stay for a multi family vacation in Brookings. Bedrooms set up for various ages and lifestyles. Navigating from the deck to the riverside could use minor improvements for older visitors but beautiful once you get down there. Would highly recommend!

First attempt with MAPS didn’t even find the street. Switched to GOOGLE MAPS and that got us to the street. Followed Bobbie’s directions from there and made it. That was the only downside to this while 5 day experience. Everything else was incredible. We felt like we were invited to stay in her home. The views of the harbor and marina and the ocean beyond were serene. Comfortable wide open living space, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, bowls, utensils and machines. Wrap-around porch was special. Beds comfortable, we all slept well. To top it off weather was the best. I could go on and on for there were many positive experiences in just the 4 days and nights we were there. Last night had fire in the Solo burner which capped off the whole experience.

The house was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space to accommodate a large group with a huge sectional couch in living room, large dining table, and plenty of comfy beds. Kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals and plenty of dishes etc.. Great amenities with game room, fire pit, and a master bath as large as a small house! Brookings is an amazingly beautiful place with so many picturesque state parks and not far from the redwood forests in CA. One heads up - the baths and shower dispensers did not have body wash and shampoo so you might want to bring your own. Thanks Emily for a great stay!

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

Michele's place was perfect for our stay in Gold Beach. It was cute and comfy, and had everything my husband and I needed. The area was quiet, and the view of the river is excellent! Michele is very responsive, each time we had a question she answered quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This was a great stay. There were so many thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable - from everything you’d need in the kitchen, TVs in almost every room, fast WiFi, plenty of extras for a beach outing, etc. The space felt spacious for me and my husband, and would be great for groups of 3 or a small family. The bed and couches were very comfy and the everything was pristinely clean. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops just down the street & downtown is only about a 5 minute drive. You’re about 15-20 minutes south of Samuel Boardman & 35 minutes north of Jedidiah smith so the location was perfect for me. I’d definitely stay here again. The spiral staircase does require a little extra concentration, but it’s unique and fun. Only thing to note is that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs so it does require a bit of up and down! The host did a great job with the space and it felt very thoughtful and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay in Brookings. The beaches and coastline are amazing! Quiet neighborhood and close to town, beaches and redwoods. Would definitely stay again.

Diamond on the Sea is a great place to stay while enjoying the coastal area. Comfortable for 1 to 2 people, has everything you need. Great views and location. When I need a place to stay at the coast hopeful this one is available. Thanks again Danny

We enjoyed the location. Everything like our favorite restaurants and grocery store was within walking distance which we loved. Place was clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay! The apt. was perfectly furnished, clean and was in an excellent location. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating in Gold Beach. We will be back!

Great place with a phenomenal location. Step to the gorgeous pebble beach and a 10 minute drive to the redwoods. Probably the nicest air bnb in town. You can't go wrong with this choice.

Exceptional location, and gated access made us feel very secure. The windows were a little hazy, but the view is stunning. A beautiful, well-cultivated walk leads down to an absolutely perfect private-access beach. Linens and towels were fluffy, good quality, and very clean. The whole property was clean and well-appointed. Nice coffee options. There are three parking spots directly in front of the unit, and we always found at least one open, which made for super convenient loading and unloading of luggage. No stairs. The highway is close enough that it was obvious when heavy vehicles went by, but it never bothered us. Didn't hear road noise at night, and the highway proximity just means that town/shops/restaurants are easily accessible. Apart from that little bit of daytime road noise, the property was very quiet and peaceful. Didn't hear any neighbors, and the ones we encountered outside were very nice. I would rent here again.

Such a cute little stay! The place was so clean, and we really enjoyed our time here. Plus, I love the full kitchen!

I had a wonderful stay - just a couple of nights; I wish it was longer! I feel rested. * Owners (including the extended animal family) were very welcoming. Ana and Gerhard were there to make sure I'm feeling at home. Thank you for the presents! Lexi the dog greeted me with a toy. Harry the goose now has a bride. * Apartment: squeaky clean, and well equipped. Very comfortable bed * Location: about 10 minute drive to everything: the ocean, redwood parks, and Crescent City (groceries, gas, etc.) * Surroundings: the property is located in a redwood grove. If you are traveling to spend time the redwoods, you don't even need to leave the property. I very much enjoyed reading in the hammock, gazing at the trees above. It is very quiet and dark at night, waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. I will be back!

Patti’s rental was simply amazing! It was supper cute, matching everything on the listing! It was clean & smelt great. The location has the most amazing views!! I would recommend family & friends to stay any time! Would love to come back & visit agin!

Love the property. We were coming in with a rental car so that was a lil crazy trying to register but everything worked out. The balcony was great and we enjoyed our time watching the pretty view.

Great find with a fantastic view of the Rogue River as it meets the Pacific Ocean. The condo was clean, private, and quiet. Kevin and Marcela were wonderful hosts; they were proactive and quickly answered any questions I had. We are look forward to visiting again!
