This house gets an A+!!! The pool was so relaxing and clean. The home was the perfect size for our family. We really enjoyed all the extras in the kitchen(i like to cook) and the communication was awesome!! Will definitely return!

We were in Lafayette under difficult circumstances. Our family needed a place to be together, and this was the perfect home away from home. With everything we needed to quickly settle in, communication with our host quick, helpful, and compassionate, the thoughtful effort of timeless art exhibited in this home is top rated.

We loved this Airbnb so much! It’s very comfortable with everything you need and more. It’s a great place for family to reconnect. We would definitely recommend. Matthew was very responsive. Hope to be back one day.

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

Our party of 8 were extremely comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The house had been totally renovated and was welll appointed. The weather was stifling. But the AC was really cold and felt so good when you walked in. The pool was a good size and the neighborhood was a nice residential area. We felt extremely safe. I was disappointed in the quality of their knives (very dull). The only downside. We did have an occasion to communicate with our hosts. They were always quick to respond. We had a great time. We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, but still close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The pool was amazing, the beds were super comfy, and we appreciated the little touches like the thoughtful decor that made it feel like home. This beautiful home was perfect for an intimate family gathering. My husband and I exchanged our vows in the beautiful garden and entertained our family for the weekend. There was more than enough room for everyone and they all enjoyed staying in such a charming, historical home. Kitchen is ideal if you love to cook and the family room right off of it was the perfect gathering spot.

Peaceful house and neighborhood. Could use more information on what was useable in the cupboards/freezer if anything. Pool was perfect since it was so hot out! Tv in the communal spaces didn’t have the promised access but it was okay since we were out so much. Overall it was a great experience with a wonderful and responsive hostess. Would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and privacy.

Everything was wonderful at Matty’s place! It was spotless and nicely decorated. (I feel like every day we stumbled upon another piece of art or stylish decor we hadn’t seen before! ) We had everything we needed and especially appreciated the laundry detergent and other items provided for our convenience. I love that it was close enough to walk or run into downtown every day and explore the history and local art Lafayette has to offer. We branched out and visited Avery Island (home of Tabasco and jungle gardens/bird sanctuary ), the AcadianVillage , and Rip van Winkle gardens - all within a reasonable drive! It was nice to come back to relax in the spacious house or on the covered porch after a day of exploring. The office space was nice for my mom as she had to do a little work while we were there and internet worked fabulously. Thank you, Matty for hosting us!

I can understand why this properly had a five star rating. clean, comfortable, great location. The host was on top of every question. Next time we come to town, book room first plan trip around that. Thanks Anthony and Teresa

My colleagues and I had a great time at Five Oaks Farms! We enjoyed coffee on the rocking chairs with the chickens in before and after our work days. The house and beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and lots of little attentions everywhere. Great morning farm eggs too. Thank you, we will be back!

Our stay in Breaux Bridge (the crawfish capital of the world, by the way - get in quick, the season is nearly over) was made even better by this charming Airbnb. Matthew kindly let us check in early, which was perfect as we were just driving in from New Orleans. The house is nestled in peaceful surrounds, with towering trees, curious squirrels and a storybook pond full of fish and cute turtles. The bed was firm and super comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary bottled water and thoughtful local tips. Best of all, Café Sydnie Mae’s (a must-visit) is just a short walk away. Highly recommend for a restful, small-town escape!

Overall 10/10. I’m a Louisiana native and know the area well, but this place would be consider a hidden gem. Overall, the host was responsive, proactive in his approach and clear and concise on check-in, expectations and the entire process was a breeze. D&S marketed, represented and maintained this place well. Also, as a “neat freak” I appreciate the small details of the cleanliness, neatness and organization of everything. Not a singe complaint about anything. Anytime I’m visiting home, this is my first place I’m checking its availability.

Extremely hospitable and clean spot to stay at. The toiletries and snacks that were provided were a nice touch as well. AC felt great. Bedroom, living room, bathroom all pristine and comfortable. Great spot to come back to after being outside in the Louisiana heat. Thanks!

It was me and my wife anniversary, so I always get bnb for us. Last year was nice also but when my wife walk in the door at Brittany place , she was overwhelmed with cleaness and the rooms and the details and the bathrooms . Brittany place is the bomb and it was very peaceful. My wife said she want to go back. Happy Wife , Happy Life. Thanks for everything!

We’ve had good luck with some really nice Airbnb’s, but Chelsea’s place is the absolute best we’ve stayed at because it is the total package of everything you’re looking for. It has plenty of space, privacy, is totally well-outfitted, has a great layout and furnishings, a nice outdoor space, easy parking, easy access for loading and unloading, plus close proximity to groceries, gas, the downtown area and the University of Louisiana. The communication with the hosts was fabulous, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. We’re already looking at the calendar to plan a return trip for the fall! If you book this place, my only suggestion would be to maybe pack a couple of extra chairs for the back deck. We had them with us and really relaxing in the outdoor space our entire week.

The place was so perfect for our Girls night getaway! We went to The Little Big Cup for dinner! Will definitely save this as a favorite in Lafayette!! Beds were so comfy too!

Very relaxing and peaceful stay right along the bayou. We loved the character and decor of the space. The hot tub and the dock outside were nice amenities. Beds were super comfortable and there is an oversized claw foot tub and plenty of hot water. Pet friendly and plenty of room for dogs to run. A couple of drawbacks to consider…the AC generally works well, but the bathroom does get uncomfortably hot in the afternoon and early evening. Additionally, the wifi wasn’t the strongest. Finally, it is very much an old barn and not all the doors and windows seal well, so you may get a couple of 6 or 8-legged visitors during your stay. Par for the course in rural Louisiana, but good for anyone squeamish to be aware of. Overall a great spot and would stay again.
