Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bruce County

Great place to stay. Host was responsive. Location not too far if you are visiting Tobermory and wanna stay overnight. Nice collection of things at the property. You wouldn’t get bored here. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! Denise is a great host—very responsive and accommodating. Check-in was super flexible, which made things so much easier for us. The place had all the amenities we needed, and the peaceful atmosphere made it perfect for relaxing. The backyard was a big hit with the kids—plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again!

The house was sparkling clean, attractively furnished and handicapped friendly. The gourmet kitchen was beautifully equipped and well laid out for the preparation of large group meals. Outdoors, the well equipped porch faced a lovely wild butterfly meadow but that was only the start of the outdoor treats. The nearby woods hosted lovely warblers and cuckoos. The famous Bruce alvars and fens were present on the property – a short walk down an easy path – or even at the edge of the driveway. The host responded promptly and effectively to all our questions and needs. All in all a delightful week.

I cannot recommend staying here enough if you are planning a trip to Tobermory! Joyce was such an incredible host and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a very relaxing weekend. She was so kind and helpful throughout our entire stay with information on anything we needed! The home was so clean and comfortable, with essentials and so much more included! You will feel right at home!! The backyard had a beautiful view and such a nice patio and fire pit to enjoy! This place is everything you could want and more! 10000000/10!!!

We had an amazing stay at Jane and Steve’s place! They were very warm and were always accommodating and ensuring our stay was going well. Jane even ensured we got to our trail start and end one day. Everything about the “loft” was comfortable, the banana bread was amazing and it felt like we were visiting old friends. Thanks so much for helping to make a rainy cold weekend enjoyable!

This is one of those Airbnbs that you never want to leave! We stayed with our two pups and had an absolute blast here. Even on the rainy days, we enjoyed staying in and playing ping pong, cooking, and watching movies, enjoying the view. We saw so much fun wildlife, including turkeys, hares, red squirrels, millions of snapping turtles, loons, and others I'm forgetting! Even though the neighboring houses are quite close, we never felt crowded and it was still very peaceful and quiet on the bay. The dog run was amazing for quick potty trips, and Matt is in the process of upgrading the fencing to a more reinforced material. Until then it may be best to be out there with your dog or leash your dog if they are an escape artist, or have a strong prey drive because the rabbits are not shy!! Matt was an exceptional host, extremely proactive and kind in all communications. He truly cares about his guests' comfort and making sure they have a wonderful time! The house was located in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It was very clean and well-maintained, with beautiful woodwork throughout that added a warm, cozy touch. We loved that it was within walking distance to the waterfront, which made for lovely morning and evening strolls. The only thing we wished for was a nice seating area by the water to better enjoy the view. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable stay.

We had a great stay - 2 adults and a dog - in the cottage, very clean, cozy, organized, and beautiful decoration. Less than 5 minutes walking to the supermarket. Also very close to town (15 minutes walking) Very quick response to our questions. We would like to return to this cottage in the near future.

Great location, quiet, private, comfortable. Nicely decorated and appointed interior. Crystal was very easy to contact prior and during my stay. Sadly it was too hot to make use of the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit.

Dorothy's was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. The entire space is super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the forest and the firepit area make it a serene and relaxing environment to spend a weekend away.

We had a fantastic stay at Sarah's place. The surroundings were very peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to all amenities. We were in the area for a fastball tournament, and this accommodation was a much nicer option than a hotel or motel. We utilized the kitchen to prepare our breakfasts and dinners instead of eating out, and the living room was a comfortable space for us to relax in during the evenings. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you for a great stay!

Thank you to Don and Mary Ellen for sharing their slice of Heaven with us. The room was beautiful and every detail was thought of. Quick responses for questions and always ensuring we had everything we needed. The animals were well taken care of and all have a wonderful story of how they came to the Roamin’ Donkey. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had a lovely stay at Natalie's! Had everything we needed for my partner and I for our vacation. Probably the best equipped kitchen in an AirBnB we've ever stayed at (great for us as we love to cook). Very clear communication from Natalie throughout the trip to ensure all our needs were met.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tobermory Stargazing Retreat! The property was peaceful, very clean, and beautifully set up — exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The stargazing at night was magical and truly lived up to the name. Nicole was an excellent host, thoughtful and responsive throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. We’d love to visit again!

Thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful, cozy, private and peaceful log cabin. Everything you could ever need is available at this property, and our host Susan was incredibly accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Beautiful, quiet area, short walk to the amazing beach, and hiking/walking trail very close by. Highly recommend this wonderful property for a relaxing getaway!

It was great stay. Though weather was not hot enough to enjoy water activities. Host was very responsive. House was very clean and tidy. Only hardship we faced is having to carry our sheets, blankets , comforters which take up quite a lot space in the car trunk even though we had 2 cars.

This location was absolutely amazing! They had clearly but so much thought into the beautiful design, layout and decore. We had an incredible time here. The sauna , hot tub and fire pit outside added so much fun to our stay and allowed not only the children but the adults also to lay back and relax. 10 out of 10 recommend this air bnb. Amyn has done a wonderful job at providing a breath taking experience for his guests and we highly appreciate that. One extra exciting thing about this experience is that my partner & I had found out that we were expecting during this trip. And it was nice to do so in such a comfortable place, surrounded by friends and family. Thank you! We will definitely stay at this location again, if we ever travel back out that way!

Second year there. Great place for our purposes. Clean, older but well kept. All modern conveniences. Mark is very easy to work with.

This place was amazing! Beautiful views and lovely living room. We loved the kayaks and the fire pits and the hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly. We would definitely come again!
