Great getaway! Went fishing by the bridge and watched our friends paddleboard on the lake from the hottub. Had a great time!

Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

It is a beautiful, secluded area on Pine Lake with the back facing west (Make sure that you enjoy watching the sunsets from the living room area or the hot tub!). There was plenty of equipment by the dock for us to use and enjoy on the water. The kids enjoyed paddling and swimming in the lake. If you are looking to work remotely, the internet connection was solid as my friend decided to work. If you are looking to switch off and go analog - it rained heavily one day there, but everyone was entertained with the all of the games and puzzles that were supplied at the cottage. Our Great Pyrenees dogs enjoyed roaming the site. We had an issue with the BBQ, but with some quick messaging with Jesse, he was able to get someone out to the cottage to fix the issue. It is a bit of trek to get into the cottage by vehicle, so I recommend that you enjoy the seclusion of the site - it is worth it! However, it is easy to get into town if you need to go there. Such an amazing time at Jakub’s cottage! The cottage matched the photos exactly and was very spacious for the large group we had. It had everything we needed inside and the outside offered what you want from a cottage. great views, lake front with easy access to the water and a nice dock. And then there was the games room, we went with 11 guys and we were entertained from the minute we woke up until we went to bed. I can’t say enough good things about this location, you won’t regret it. Finally Jakub was a great host with clear communication and offered help if we needed it. Over all my group was extremely happy with everything :)

We stayed for my wife’s 30th birthday celebration. Alex was extremely flexible with an early check in to facilitate setting up decorations prior to her arrival. He was fast to respond and very helpful with any issues we had. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. I don’t think the pictures did this place justice, the view from the backyard was incredible.

We loved staying at the Hello Sunshine cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like our own little home away from home. The place feels private, the view is stunning, and it was a breath of fresh air to unplug from technology during our stay. The sunroom was perfect for completing puzzles during the day and the backyard was well equipped to enjoy a peaceful fire at night. Alanna was a great host and was very quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying at Hello Sunshine, and will definitely be booking again!

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Fantastic stay! Clean, beautiful views, hot tub was amazing and fishing off the dock was pretty good. NOTE: Proximity to road was a bit of a thing for the sound. That being said it didn't diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Thank you again!

We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of swimming in the lake, sitting on the dock, kayaking and simply watching the hummingbirds by day and fireflies by night. The location is perfect allowing us easy access to Peterborough and also Petroglyph Provincial park. Lots of great restaurant options. I would consider staying here again while visiting my child at Trent University.

Great cottage with lots of room for family. We had 8 adults stay. Lots of room for everyone and lots to do. Good selection of games and books. Paddle boards, kayaks and a tandem kayak for those who like to paddle together. Would definitely book again.

We booked for a long weekend and it was a great site. The water access was easy and the boat launch not to far. Town was about 15 min away if you forgot something. Lots to do at the cottage, but peace and tranquility were front and center. Thank you again for a great time.

PJ was a great host. We really enjoyed our time, and the fishing in the area. Great spot for a good weekends away from home. The only two issues we ran into during our stay was the kitchen tap had very little water pressure, making washing dishes a little difficult. We also ran out of propane and realized the second tank, was also empty. We did go out and purchase one to use but took it home with us. Otherwise, we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

Katie and Craig's place was nothing short of impeccable. We were a family of 6 with 2 small kids and this place really felt so comfortable and cozy, that we definitely decided to make it our annual getaway. As hosts, Craig and Katie were so easy and friendly to communicate with. We missed a few things to grab from the store, but Katie was able to arrange to get us these items, which were much appreciative. The cabin is located in such a serene and spectacular location. The boat ride to and from the cabin was an experience in itself and whilst we were at the cabin there were plenty of games for the kids to be entertained with, a peaceful hammock which I personally slept on for the 2 afternoons we spent there, and finally the hot tub, canoes and peddle boats. This is a gem of a place with excellent amenities. 5 stars do not do this place justice honestly. It's 7 stars for sure!

Melissa is an amazing host, and we felt so well taken care of. Beautiful property, amazing accommodation. The games room was such a plus, we had fun! The property lends itself to relaxation, from the amazing deck, new dock, fire pit by water, and even a lovely swing to sit in with a morning coffee. We will back, highly recommend.

Ben was an excellent host and the cottage was beautiful with lots to do. Ben was very communicative with me throughout the weekend and we had no issues. I highly recommend this cottage!

Lovely cottage! Great location with good access to nearby towns while being close. Kayaks are great to have onsite and the outdoor area is lovely and large. Bedrooms are small but comfortable, and there is ample seating inside and outside. Neighbors are close but the area itself is lovely. Host is quick to respond and communicates well.

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

I recently stayed at Ben’s charming cottage near the lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The property offered stunning lake views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay truly enjoyable. Ben was exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. The cottage came with a kayak and a canoe, which provided us with hours of fun on the water. Additionally, the games room was a great bonus, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful and entertaining getaway.
