The location is a rural setting adjacent to a working farm, come and enjoy the unspoiled and breathtaking surroundings of the countryside. The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. Surf school for all ages. Fabulous walks begin right at the door from easy to mountain hikes. Good for couples and families. Good WiFi. Wheelchair accessible.

Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery store, butcher and chemist within walking distance. Keel's very own famous blue flag beach is situated right on the door step.
