Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bunratty

Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.

A great stay. The house was really spacious and very well decorated. There was lots of lovely touches such as some food in the fridge. The house was sparkling clean and Damien and Emma were great hosts. They responded to messages quickly and were very helpful! I’d highly recommend a stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

A lovely traditional thatched cottage with all the modern amenities. We really enjoyed the use of the hot tub, jacuzzi bath and sitting in front of the turf fire in the evening which was very relaxing. Thank you for a great stay and would not hesitate to return again.

Our family loved the cottage. The views and sunsets were just beautiful. It is 2 minutes from Cliffs if Moher and about 8 minutfrom Doolin. It was a nice touch to have breakfast foods for the first morning. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had a great dinner at Russell Seafood and listened to music at McDermotts.

This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

A beautiful building lovingly restored in a great location if you like walks, beautiful countryside while still being near to towns and villages for a nice meal out. John was so helpful and friendly, it just started our break off on the right foot. Ps bring carrots for the donkeys in the paddock next door, the stars of the show

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy, quiet and the decor is very nice, chosen with great taste. Mathieu is discreet but very responsive to our messages. Thanks to him for his trust. We recommend this beautiful place with great pleasure.

I tried to come here in June 2020 but Covid cancelled flights. I checked for places for this trip and was able to find it again. The cottage is well equipped and is in the most peaceful place with a million dollar/euro view. I would definitely stay again. Mandy was great and gave very good instructions. She answered questions quickly and gave great recommendations. Thanks again Mandy!!!

Great place to stay for the night!

Bryce's place was quite a gem that included beautiful scenery and trails to explore. Bryce was beyond helpful and offered many great recommendations. The breakfast was a nice touch as well.

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. It was the perfect base for seeing local attractions and further afield. Patrick and Mary were really helpful in highlighting places to visit and eat. Goldie the dog was also friendly and loved a belly rub. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and had fabulous views of the Galtees.

It felt like being home in the Irish countryside. Rita's farmhouse had everything we needed for a long stay including some fresh eggs and other items to get started. It was an absolutely lovely place, and I hope to return!

This house is a gem in the An Spiedal area. The house is super private and in a great location, pretty right on the water with view of Water and Aran islands from the kitchen. I had coffee just staring at the sights every morning. You can walk around there property or take a short walk to the beach front. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The town has just enough stores and restaurants to get by and if needed, Galway is maybe 25 mins away. The hosts communicated well and gave clear instructions, read them all, will be useful on your stay. Whatever you need will be in the instructions they provide. Overall a great place to stay and relax. This was the third Airbnb we stayed in Ireland and by far the best in terms of location and scenery. Do visit Galway and also drive to Kylemore Abbey when you are here, both will not disappoint.

The accommodation is clean, spacious, bright and well-equipped, a separate building. It has a perfect sense of privacy and silence. Parking is inside the property, almost under the living room window. It was a pleasant surprise that the third person also got a full-size bed (in the description it was a pull-out sofa). The host was helpful and friendly, he was waiting for us upon arrival. We arrived at low tide, it was a special experience to walk on the sand of the sea and the rocks that had become dry. The stairs leading there are a 2-minute walk. All three of us were happy that we chose this accommodation. Thank you!

Marian and Martin were absolutely delightful! They made us feel welcome and honored from the start. They enjoyed getting to know us but also gave us the time to enjoy our vacation. It was the perfect mix! Heidi (the dog) was brilliant! we all wished we could take her home!!!! What a precious addition to our vacation she was!!! HIGHLY recommend this home!!! Beautiful and all that you need for a peaceful fairy tale vacation!!!

Bryan and his wife were so friendly. Beautiful and private cottage and the weather was absolutely perfect. The town of Adare was lovely. We absolutely would return to the cottage and amazing hosts. Highly recommend as a must stay if you plan on staying in Adare.

We stayed at Frank's beautiful tiny house for two nights and had a great time. Frank provided more than we would have asked for! :) The house is super cozy and has a lot of sweet details!

Mary's place was warm and homey. It is an old Irish cottage. She laid out a nice tea with homemade scones and soda bread for our arrival, which were delicious. She also had many things available for personal needs including food items and health and beauty aids. Mary shared advice on things to see and do in the area. We all enjoyed our stay at Bridgie's Cottage.

Anne Marie was a sweet hostess and we loved hearing the rich family history.

we had a wonderful stay and our only regret is that is wasn't longer! We were looking for a real break and some well needed rest and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. Mary is a very responsive and lovely host. would love to go back.

Our favorite place on the whole trip. Absolutely enchanting setting in a stunningly beautiful area. Michael and his family were the best of hosts, welcoming and responsive. If you’re looking for the beautiful soul of Conamarra, this is your place.

Breda’s place was wonderful. Very close to downtown Galway but far enough that you have the peace and quiet of the country side. Very easy check in and a beautiful little space with a great view.
