If you like Quiet, clean, comfortable, walks, good village pub, every where an easy drive from Scotton….You will love this cottage. We had a lovely relaxing time here our Whippet loved it also. Holly & Alastair are excellent hosts, we would definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

what an absolutely amazing place to visit, with one of the moat picturesque views of the Yorkshire Dale anyone could wish from right in the backgarden. the cottage is spotless and has everything you could want for a break away.

Fantastic little cottage, so quaint. Hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The bed was comfy, was just a wonderful place to spend my birthday weekend. It was easy to get to all the local attractions and the pubs in the village were lovely and the locals so friendly. We will definitely be back

We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

we were very impressed with Nicholas house very clean and equipped every thing we needed was there and more Location was great close to restrauants and Thirsk where we had lunch . could not fault it Will definitely go again

Had such a lovely stay at Victorias place, was just perfect for a quiet local weekend away for me and my boyfriend. Very peaceful area with some nice walks. The cottage was lovely and clean. Everything was perfect Victoria even provided some bowls and a towel for my dog. 10/10 will definitely stay again 😊

This was my second stay at Folly Cottage and I’ll definitely be coming back! It’s a beautiful cottage with everything you need on your stay. It’s a great location too, almost directly at the bottom of Haworth Main Street. Highly recommend 😊

This trip was for my birthday, and wanted to walk up Pendle Hill, fantastic location, easy to get to. The place was amazing like the photos, clean tidy, lovely smells greated you, everything you need is there, well organised, I loved the manual on the house and clear instructions. I even got a birthday card and sweets Amber the Beagle had her own treats and a mat for her bowls, so kind. The place is just down the road to the famous hill. The bath for me was the best part after sore legs even had bath salts. The hosts have really thought about everything you need for a relaxing stay and their communication is quick. You must visit this place one of the best places I've stayed so far. Thanks for hosting our little family x

We loved our stay at Polly’s cottage! It was lovely to stay somewhere so well set up for a baby. We particularly appreciated the welcome hamper with products from the village shop and all the walks we could do from the door. Amy was so responsive and helpful as co host, which made the stay very straight forward. Thanks in particular for going the extra mile and providing some extra cooking appliances for our stay!

The property was easy to find with the instructions Kathryn supplied beforehand, as was entry to the charming cottage. Plenty of room for 4 adults with 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Comfy beds, spacious and plenty of hot water. The small kitchen was well equipped and close to the dining area. The lounge room downstairs had plenty of room, a wood heater and good tv. Lots of books and games too. The views from every room are absolutely beautiful! With chickens and goats to keep us company, in the neighbouring field, the out door area was great in the warm afternoon sun and pub was only a 15minute walk away… Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in the Dales.

We had a lovely stay at Bobbin Cottage. It is really cosy , comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely small garden. It is in an excellent location right in the heart of the wonderful UNESCO world heritage site of Saltaire with Salts Mill and local shops, cafes and amenities. It is also just a 5 minute walk from the station with fast and frequent trains into Bradford (we used it as a base for a festival we were involved with in Bradford). And also, excellent and really friendly communication from Jackie.

We loved this fabulous hideaway cottage in Grassington. Chris, the host had gone to so much trouble to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We didn’t have to drive all week as there were so many beautiful walks to explore, great restaurants and everything you might need just on your doorstep.

Very pleased with our stay!

Situated in a perfect spot for beautiful walking from the village, Smiths cottage is warm and cosy, a generous size for two, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There is ample parking and a pretty garden and patio with wonderful views of Wharfedale. You can stroll to two pubs- we had a delicious traditional steak and ale pie at the Craven Arms. There is a useful friendly basic supplies shop at the nearby campsite, which also has a little cafe and ice cream spot. We walked to Burnsall and Hebden along the River Wharfe on our first day- glorious scenery and bird song all around. The climb up behind the Craven Arms over the hills to Troller’s Gill and through the valley to Skyreholme was well worth the effort for the vistas and for a visit to the fabulous Parcevall Hall Gardens, with its Love Brownies tea room for refreshment before the walk back along the River Wharfe via Howgills to the cottage. We had a fabulous stay - this is an exceptional holiday cottage in a fabulous setting. The house was spotlessly clean and really well resourced. To be super critical - possibly a little too well resourced for us. However, the facilities, location, cleanliness and owner communication made this a stand-out property and we would recommend it every day of the week.

This was our first time using airbnb and they set the bar ihigh. We received a warm welcome. Every need was catered for from cotton buds to laundry. pods. A beautiful property and surroundings; the cottage was clean rhoughtout Lots to do in the area with nice cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you🙂
