“It’s a home away from home. A true gem within a beautiful farm setting. Mai is a Super host indeed, she waited for us and welcomed us warmly with Chili (her cute Shepard dog). The stay had a well equipped kitchen, a fireplace, clean toilet and fresh towels and linens. If you love animals this is a great place for you, you’ll find ducks, goats, sheep, birds, cats, chicken and dog.”
Room for rent in big house with use of spacious kitchen, laundry and garden. you will have your own private bathroom.
“I was met in the yard by an exuberantly happy lady (maybe extra happy because my boyfriend was visiting that night?), And was shown into a stylish home with a distinctive character. Plenty of room, good standard, great hospitality, lovely views. A place I would have liked to have been longer, if it had not been for me to rush on.”
Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Come and experience amazing nature!
“This place is absolutely perfect - ideal location, and such a nice spot surrounded by mountains, and feels just enough 'off the beaten path.' The shared facilities and the cabin were possibly the cleanest camping facilities I've experienced! I stayed in Cabin number 6, which was closest to the shared facilities, and right next to the waterfall. The roaring water is loud enough that you can't really hear any of the other guests, and it feels like you have the whole valley to yourself! I cannot recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to come back!”
