João was a wonderful host. He greeted me personally upon my arrival was very friendly and even purchased a few items. I would need for the next morning since I arrived late in the evening. João’s place was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. I would definitely recommend his apartment to any future visitors.

We made a weekend between friends, the space was perfect to rest and enjoy the outdoor space of the garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The house is very spacious, very good sun exposure, impeccable cleaning and very well-equipped. Mr. João was always very attentive and helpful, he responds to messages very quickly and still received us with a bottle of Rose. I definitely recommend it and, on an upcoming trip north, we'll be happy to stay here again. Thank you!!

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Great location if you want to be in nature and not have crowds around you. Leen and Sam are very nice and let you go your own way. It's great to see how they are working ecologically. We have completely calmed down and from there we drove to Amarante. The roads are easy to drive on and it is a barely discovered area. Bed is fine and you only have to take shower, not too long but no problem for us.
