Arguably Irelands best scenery, enjoy views of Dingle Peninsula/Coumeenoole Bay, the Blasket Islands and Dunmore Head. The famous Coumeenoole beach is a 10 minute stroll, Dingle town is 10 miles away and Killarney 50 miles.

A great base for discovering Valentia Island, Skellig Rocks, Numerous Beaches & Golf Courses. Located within the Dark Sky Reserve, the Farmhouse has 3 Large Roof Windows, so star gazing can be done while relaxing indoors!! Ideal location for walkers with the Beentee loop walk and Cnoc na dTobar pilgrim path close by.

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

Therefore, not suitable for young children or people with limited mobility. The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

You’ll love my place because of the surroundings, the ambiance, the breathtaking views, the light, the comfy beds, comfort all rooms, the cosiness, the setting, the amazing sunsets from the conservatory. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families business remote working.

Boat House on the Beach

The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!

It has recently been tastefully redecorated for a holiday to remember in the wonderful west of Ireland.
