Family-friendly holiday rentals in Calais

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful house clean, welcoming, warm and with a beautiful garden in which the kids had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and umbrella beds. The hot tub was much appreciated by everyone:) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2 day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

Christine is a lovely person The cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the birds' songs. the cottage is impeccable and decorated with a lot of sensitivity and sweetness. the very comfortable bedding. and the final bouquet, a beautiful relaxation at the end of the day in the jacuzzi. an excellent choice, I recommend it at 200 /💯 we'll be back for sure.

Very pleasant stay, Fanny is available and responsive for responses to our requests by text or during our meetings. Listing as described. Our dogs were really welcome, small courtyard well closed for them. Good time in the real countryside and 35mn from the sea. Everything about it is excellent Thanks for the great time.

It is a beautiful house, everything is perfect and works perfectly. We have enjoyed our few days in this paradise.

Functional, clean accommodation with all the essentials for the stay. The big plus is of course the direct access to the beach and the environment with the farm and its animals. That's what tipped the balance in our choice of accommodation because our kids loved it and we didn't want to take the car all the time to go to the beach. Frédérique is responsive and attentive, we were treated to local drinks and cookies. We keep the address for a future stay on the coast. Thanks!

A big thank you to Alain and Mireille for their warm welcome, the little touches and their recommendations in the area! The accommodation is ideally located to enjoy the Marquenterre and its surroundings, very well equipped and the jacuzzi a real plus to relax after a busy day! Great stay!

A real pleasure to stay in this beautiful little cottage , everything is there for a great time! Very good bedding , the pretty exteriors , the animals , the Nordic bath and even the games in the house to occupy the loulous . We will definitely stay again because our kids loved it and so did we. Great location also for sightseeing and the sea . Thanks to Adeline for her kindness and availability . We recommend eyes closed .

We spent very nice days, the house is right on the beach, only separated by a street. The house was clean, the beds very comfortable and the bedding of good quality. Raphaël is a very hospitable and responsive host.

A lovely cottage, we have enjoyed our stay very much. There are lots of nice touches in a good thought for the comfort of guests. Warm house in every room by the time of our arrival; milk, juice, home made jam (delicious!), bread, cereals avalible; little messages that welcome and guide through the house. There are actually 3 bathrooms. All is spotless clean and fresh. We wish to return :)

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Gerard and Lorette’s holiday home in the beautiful Baie de Somme. The house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, which made family dinners a real pleasure. All in all, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommended!

I have been using Airbnb for over 12 years and Wendee is one of the nicest hosts I have had. So kind, communicative and responsive. The house is in a lovely part of the Kent coast that we love, with easy access for cliffs coastal walks and the wonderful Zetland Arms. My husband and I both came down with colds and Wendee was so kind with allowing late check in and late check out, and always responded promptly. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and the living room smells amazing!

Very good stay at Noël's, with a warm welcome. The place and the house correspond perfectly to the description, both peaceful and beautifully maintained, with the possibility of beautiful walks with our dog. Our stay was short but we were able to visit the surroundings and the Audomarois marshes. We plan to return and share this little getaway with those around us.

With a group of friends we had a wonderful stay at Céline's place. The house and the garden were amazing, also for the kids and our dog! The location is great, the region has a beautiful coast for nice walks. We also enjoyed the BBQ in the garden. Recommended!

The studio is very quiet, although close to the city. It is very close to the walled historic old town. You can walk around the old town (with the dog) on the wall-like city wall. This walk is beautiful and very well maintained. The studio is located on the ground floor (only 2 steps) and has a separate entrance. There is everything you need. The beds are super clean. Last but not least, we also found our own enclosed parking lot to be very advantageous.

This place is amazing! such a beautiful location. We had a lovely time for our 4 days. The house is great, very tastefully decorated and lots of amenities. The pool was an excellent addition but unfortunately the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. Nevertheless we had a lovely relaxing time, playing boules, walking the vast grounds and enjoying the peace. We hope to visit again.

Great stay in Fort Mahon. Impeccable accommodation and super well located. Ideal for walking (Marquenterre, Le Crotoy, Baie d'Authie etc.). The place is "timeless", in a calm and serene atmosphere. Nicolas is a considerate and available host.

We had an incredible stay at Lievekes house. The photos on the listing did not do it justice! The facilities for children are incredible- our 4 year old and 6 month old couldn't have been better catered for! The kids playroom outside was a big hit. The hosts were friendly and approachable and helpful when there was an issue. They were so helpful at check in and really thoughtful at check out with the children. Our son loved being able to explore the farm, feed the alpacas and sit in the farm machinery. Lots to do nearby too from Bruges city, Ypres history etc. We will be back!

We had a great time. View from the apartment, magnificent. Peaceful, refreshing and relaxing environment. There are many places to discover... Restaurant and grocery store next to the apartment, which is convenient... We will come back because we still have places to discover...

Honestly, nothing to say. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.
