Fantastic house in a beautiful rural setting! The house is spotless and spacious. Well-appointed kitchen and pantry. First Airbnb we’ve stayed in that actually has storage containers for leftover food! Plenty of paper products, bath supplies and towels. Comfortable sun room and covered porch for relaxing. Hosts are very responsive! The setting is beautiful - very rural. It was fun to cook at home and relax at the house. Strong WiFi. The towns of Murphys (shops, pubs, eateries) and Arnold (Big Trees State Park is beautiful!) are each a 40 minute drive. Would definitely return to this beautiful home!

Jacque was a very accommodating host. She was very responsive to any questions posed. Her property is amazingly beautiful and we had complete privacy. The views were magnificent and the area has tons of history. I would definitely return here.

My wife and I were looking to escape the noise and commotion of city life for a few days and Gerri's Hideaway in Murphys was the perfect location. Lovely home surrounded by the beauty and peace and quiet of nature. Loved waking up to nothing but the sounds of birds and mountain breeze. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and solitude.

Absolutely perfect for our purposes. Supported a three-day trip for four adults to Yosemite NP in complete comfort. Perfectly appointed for our needs and supported equally well by a perfect hostess!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. The place felt homey and was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and is in walkable distance to downtown. Our favorite part about their house was sitting outside, grilling food and using the jacuzzi with a pretty view of trees.

A perfect apartment in a beautiful little town, full of character and close enough to Yosemite for a day trip. Very comfortable bed and spacious living spaces. Would highly recommend, one of the best Airbnbs we have used.

Very comfortable and quiet property. We booked this property giving Kevin and Teresa only an hour’s notice. They were very pleasant and made sure everything was set for us. Kevin met us and showed us around. The apartment was very warm and cozy. We would highly recommend!!

This new Airbnb spot is wonderful!! Super clean, simple, peaceful, comfortable and close to everything downtown in Sonora. Totally walkable - if you’re ok with a few steep hills. I come to Sonora a lot and there are very few choices for staying the night. Margaret’s place is seriously somewhere I would stay over and over! There’s even a washer and dryer and she provided some La Croix in the mini fridge. Loved that. Did I mention clean!! The location and view out the window are beautiful and the quiet patio out back is shaded and super chillable! Thank you, Margaret!

Great location right near the heart of Murphys. On a second floor over some shops and a nice restaurant. Small balcony from the bedroom has a nice view down Main Street. Very cozy and large. It’s in an older building, which shows in a couple things like the heater being a bit loud, but all in all very nice.

This place is absolutely amazing and great for families. My kids enjoyed every minute and we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay (3 ladies weekend wine tasting getaway) was wonderful. The front of the Shopkeepers Cottage was very unassuming when we parked in front of the the old green storefront. The walk down the hallway did not reveal any secrets of what laid ahead. When we unlocked the actual door to the residence we were amazed as we saw a lovely private and tastefully decorated French country home away from home . The place was very clean and large. Both bedrooms were huge and tastefully decorated. This place is centrally located and well appointed. The kitchen was very nice and had every pot and pan required to cook if you are so inclined to do so. Communication via text was easy if we had a question and was cheerfully answered. This was not our first visit to Amador City but our first stay at this Airbnb. We would definitely recommend staying here on your visit to wine country.

Our big, three-generation family stayed stayed at Ashish’s house for week. We had a great time. The house has plenty of room, is located in a lovely community, and had everything we could ask for and then some. I heartily recommend this delightful house and host.

We absolutely LOVED this place & will definitely book again. Directions were right on point. The views were amazing, mother nature surrounded us and it was so relaxing. Comfy beds & the kitchen views made cooking and spending time in the kitchen all that much more fun. We brought our cornhole set up but Henry's 49er cornhole boards were in the back! Had coffee out in the back every morning to catch the beautiful sunrise over the lake and mountains. Can't say enough great things about this place. Grazie, grazie for sharing your beautiful home with us! Until our next visit...ciao ciao

What a beautiful spacious log home The views are gorgeous that over look the valley. Sunrise and sunset are amazing . We saw a herd of about 20 deer pass through the bottom of the property. You can also see the valley lights from the deck at night. We loved the deck for morning and evening coffee. The jacuzzi was wonderful after a day of skiing at Kirkwood This is a beautiful home for any gathering , spa retreat , weddings or any type of reception. The home would be easily catered with as there is ample dishes. There is plenty of parking space and a car port entry for guests arriving to the property. The master bedroom is spa quality with a deep jacuzzi tub and large dual shower. All of the amenities are top quality. Everything was in perfect condition and we were even welcomed with juice for the kids and a cold beer for the adults. A small intimate wedding over looking the valley below would be a picture perfect setting. We can’t wait to hold our next birthday here.

This place is truly something special. The peaceful setting, the beautiful views, and the cozy, welcoming home made our time here unforgettable. We held a small event and everything felt just right. The outdoor spaces are perfect for gathering and relaxing. Eric was a wonderful host — so kind, responsive, and thoughtful. You can tell this place is cared for with love. We made such meaningful memories and would love to return one day.
