Friendly and very responsive host, clean comfortable room. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, and the entrance to the room is in the back yard, however, we were a little uncomfortable that the room door could not be locked from the outside, only from the inside. This is not really a big issue but not something we are used to. If this doesn't bother you it is a great place to stay.

Ruth's place was amazing! I really felt at home there. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing all the necessary instructions and plenty of great recommendations. I truly appreciated that she invited me to join her plans with her friends and family, which made me feel very comfortable. Another great aspect was how easy it was to travel to New York using public transportation. Thank you so much, Ruth, for everything! I highly recommend this place. It was comfortable, and I loved being able to prepare my own meals using Ruth's kitchen, which had all the essentials. I’ll definitely be coming back to Ruth's place!

Anne's place is one of those great big Montclair houses that feels like home. She's restored it beautifully and so seamlessly that it doesn't feel "restored". It just feels like a nice comfortable family home that's always been lovingly cared for. I liked my simple room which had with a useful desk and a very comfortable mattress. WIFI was fast. There is a surprisingly big backyard. Parking takes coordination with other guests.( Be advised it can be as hard to finding parking in Montclair as Manhattan!) Anne's a warm and enthusiastic AirBnB host who will give you as much or as little attention as you want.

The place was beautiful and comfortable. I’m not used to an airbnb not having at least one TV nor all of the rules of not being able to take photos or such restrictions. Maybe I didn’t notice them until later but for the kind of stay I was looking for, a little more private or free feeling, I didn’t really get that. So if you’re coming to visit friends or family and get to know NJ, it’s definitely good for that and even the host was so responsive! But for what I was looking for, I should have paid more attention. House was still great though :) Spotless and beautiful! I also very much appreciate them for letting me extend my checkout.

First time in life, We visited New Jersey, and it started with Kadeem’s home. It was really comfortable, peaceful, beautiful surrounding. Both host and co-host were responsive. It has made our US journey quite comfortable.
