This was our little home away from home while my son and I visited my daughter. Allison was super responsive!! She contacted us to see if we needed a cot and whether we preferred coffee or tea. Our basket of snacks was a nice touch! We enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

Leo’s Airbnb was GREAT. He was extremely responsive and helpful. Had great recommendations for places to grab a bite to eat. The Airbnb itself was great, quiet, and clean. I would definitely suggest booking with him!

Our stay at Le Petit Chateau was peaceful, clean, and felt just like home. The space was well-organized and spotless, with a cozy bed and a great kitchen for cooking. The location was perfect, quiet and only about 30 minutes from the Virginia Beach oceanfront and other local spots. We really appreciated how private it felt, and Jamey was an attentive and kind host. Highly recommend and would gladly return!

Raul was very responsive and helpful with accommodating a late check out as well as answering any questions that I had. Excellent host. Would highly recommend!

Anne and Carlos were incredibly responsive and attentive hosts, especially with helping us store our bikes. Their place was charming and the kitchen was well stocked!

We had to attend a funeral in Elizabeth City, so this was a last minute booking. I will say that Mechelle’s place the perfect place to wind down after attending the services. Lovely decor and comfortable space. The flat was within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. We didn’t get to all of Mechelle’s recommendations. Will always book when in Elizabeth City. Mechelle was responsive and amazing to work with. Will say it again will book this space every time we are there. Top Notch.

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!

Our stay at the Sit N' Duck was absolutely perfect! The residence is well laid out with amenities to make your stay as easy and care-free as possible. Mary and Larry provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the washer and dryer were a helpful additional touch. If we wanted a beach day, it was only a 2-minute walk to a very secluded and peaceful section of the beach with great views, the sound of the ocean, and pristine waves. We brought a small beach cart which was easily maneuvered out and down the beach access boardwalk, but if you're packing light it wouldn't be hard to carry everything for the short distance. Even in the rain, there are wonderful covered sitting areas to sit out and enjoy the rain as we read a book or just chatted. Additionally, there's no shortage of things to do nearby in a short drive up to Duck or down to Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. We couldn't have imagined a better trip to OBX and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future!

Had a great stay here while in the OBX for a wedding, very easy to go in and out, parking was easy and was accessible to all of our wedding activities while also being quiet and peaceful.

Woods and Waves was the perfect spot for our vacation. Christy is an excellent and responsive host who went above and beyond to meet our every need. The apartment is cozy and adorably outfitted. The beds were comfortable (plus the alcove beds were equipped with an excellent selection of books and reading pillows). Every amenity was taken care of - the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware as well as coffee and snacks, and there were ample paper products and detergents for the dishwasher and washer/dryer. Every beach need was anticipated (including chairs, umbrella, and a backpack cooler). And the pool is a magical lagoon paradise that is shaded in the late afternoon - perfect after a day of relaxing in the sun on the beach. Don't hesitate if you're considering Woods and Waves - you will not be disappointed!!

If you are headed to Elizabeth City, you have to stay at Harbour Place! It is immaculate, stylish, and walkable to everything in downtown. Michael is an exceptionally hospitable host. It was quiet and private as well. Slept like a dream. And he really has thought of everything. This Air BNB is top tier! Highly recommend.

Our stay at Erica’s Airbnb exceeded expectations. It was exactly as described—private, spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful extras. The location was perfect: centrally located to everything, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot. It had everything we needed and more. Our favorite part was being able to walk right out the door and hike up Jockey’s Ridge to catch the sunset. Christina’s apartment was absolutely charming. Perfectly clean and cozy for a 2 person getaway. Everything was exactly as advertised. It is very clear that Christina cares very much about her guests and works to ensure they have a positive experience. The location is a short walk to the beach and right in the middle of many things to do. We hopped on bikes and explored the whole area. Great local shops and restaurants all close by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We felt right at home and the space was perfection for a quiet getaway that also had local options for good food and fun! The location was extremely clean and had amenities that were super useful (like a roomy closet and table trays!) Also, the room smelled amazing every single time we walked inside! Hosts were communicative and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely phenomenal, 10 Star host!! Pat communicated with me throughout our booking and stay. During our stay we did have a few questions and she answered quickly. She has a convenient ice maker within the space and while we were there it broke. She immediately ordered a new one and was going to send Chuck to get us bags of ice until the new one arrived. We weren't worried about it but just the thought of them doing that was a plus! She met us at check-in and was very thorough explaining not just everything about the space but also a whole lot about the area, places to go, things to do and such. Both Pat and Chuck are extremely friendly and easy to talk to!! All the extras she included for us was absolutely amazing! She truly thinks about her guests and we could tell it's not just a money thing for them! Just as described, the beach is literally about 100 steps away and so totally enjoyable!! We will definitely be staying at Heathsville OBX in the near future! Thank you so, so much!

The location of this Airbnb was perfect and Gia the host provided ample recommendations and helpful information making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were just like the pictures, very clean, and the hot tub was amazing. Would love to stay here again on our next visit to OBX.

Location was great and located a short distance to just about anything you could imagine. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be staying here again if we come back to the OBX.

Beautiful place to stay near the beach without needing to be ON the beach. Cozy, relaxing space to unwind after time in the sun. The hot tub is just an added bonus we all enjoyed!
