The location was killer; steps away from the Panthers' stadium, and just blocks from any other downtown (I grew up in Charlotte in the 80s and 90s and it wasn't called "uptown" then!) shenanigans you might want to get into. Cozy room in a cute bungalow home within walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants in Charlotte's best neighborhood- Plaza Midwood. My home is right off the highway so it's easy access and just minutes away to other fun Charlotte areas like Uptown (center city), NODA and South End.

The location is very quiet with gorgeous trees, and yet is right near Independence Drive that takes you right downtown in less than 5 minutes. There was space in the refrigerator and cabinets for groceries and fast wifi. The check-in process was flawless, and she, her co-host and their dog Cookie are very friendly and professional. Let's talk about something that is often overlooked but can make or break a stay: the shower. Wendi's place has plenty of water pressure and hot water that is plenty hot and lasts the whole shower. If you've traveled and not had these things, you'll know how important it can be. If you are looking to stay in Charlotte, either for a weekend or a month or more, you won't do better than Wendi.”
