I built my wooden house entirely and finished it in early 2024. I offer it for rent during the high summer season but also during the other 3 seasons which each offer their advantages. The creation of the sauna with its wood stove is to be able to enjoy the swimming pool in all seasons. (paid option) The swimming pool is not overlooked and offers a beautiful view of the valley and its natural landscape. This valley is also home to the village of Conques and its magnificent abbey church.

Bag End : An unexpected journey

Are you all about peace, quiet, and above all, nature? Welcome to Bag End ! Nestled in the heart of the lush landscapes of Cantal, not far from the medieval town of Saint-Flour, this modern and unique little hideaway, which could very well be located in Middle-earth, will suit you for sure. Bag End welcomes you into its cocoon made of wood and stone. At an altitude over 1000 meters, it offers a comforting warmth in winter and a refreshing coolness during the hottest summers.

Contemporary buron

Old buron / barn of the 19 th century renovated to new by an architect. Superb living room of 80 m2 with all the services: TV, WiFi, Barbecue, Sono, kitchen teams, raclette app, fondue... Old chalet atmosphere, for this stone house completely renovated in 2016. Each object has been heathered and perfectly blends the modern and the old with taste. Superb reading area with views of the pastures.10 lakes less than 5 km away, the DESROC waterfall and a river 500m away (Le BES).

Boudou's House

Close to the famous Col de Légal, and its departure from Gr 400, La Maison de Boudou offers a cocooning atmosphere at 1000 meters altitude in a small hamlet. A paradise to rest between sports hikes and bucolic or gastronomic walks. Since 2024: high-speed fiber wifi! Since 2025: the legal pass has opened its base of outdoor activities (laser Wood); you can rent equipment such as snowshoes, electric mountain bikes, and access the spa after your hikes!

Beautiful Gite in a typical Cantal barn (1896) completely renovated (2017) respecting the original materials. Accommodating 6 people in 3 bedrooms, you can enjoy a large cathedral lounge with Billiards and views of Puy Mary. You will lounge in its Balnéo bathtub just after your days of Nature. The Valley will offer you all the outdoor activities imaginable in a Sain and Serein setting. Finally, the Region hosts many points of interest (Salers...)

La Roquette Eco-Gîte

8 km from Conques, one of the jewels of the Way of St Jacques de Compostela, La Roquette is near the village of Grand Vabre on the banks of the Lot. Guests can enjoy a barn completely renovated in natural materials, with kitchen open to the living room, bathroom, and new generation dry toilet! Perfect for guests seeking calm in the heart of nature. The Lot River is accessible from our garden for a swim with a floating pontoon for sunbathing.

Cantalou bread oven

Welcome to our charming little home in the heart of the Cantal! Live a unique experience in an old bread oven, set in a peaceful hamlet with views to the valley. This independent house of 55 sqm includes an equipped kitchen and a wood burning stove, a bedroom with a king-size bed and a shower room. Enjoy the garden with barbecue and the space for a tent. If you are a couple with small children, we will be happy to host you.

Barbados

"Barbados" is a typical small farmhouse in Artense planted facing the mountain in a magnificent setting. The house is without opposite, on a large plot, quiet, between forest, countryside and trout rivers; just a few kilometers from the villages of Bagnols and Saint-Donat and shops. It is ideally placed for excursions in the Sancy, the Cézalier or the Cantal Mountains. All photos shown are taken around the house.
