Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. Modern relaxed lake front home with floor to ceiling windows giving you amazing waterfront views. Open bright layout with wood burning stove in the living room to warm up on chilly evenings. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove. Master bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite washroom. Second bedroom has queen size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a main washroom with bathtub and shower. High speed fiber optic internet is available.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

The Sleeping Moose Cottage is a private, cosy, 600 square feet, well laid out vacation rental for up to 5 people. It is very nicely renovated and completely equipped for you to enjoy a weekend gateway or a longer vacation. Open year round with full electrical heat and a wood stove to heat up the cooler evenings and winter stay's The Sleeping Moose Cottage is located on the same property as the Dancing Moose Cafe (very good Breakfast and lunch) and the Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins.

Explorer's Cottage provides a country experience on 150 wooded acres, with a private beach, a botanical park-like forest, bird watching, an orchard, a Japanese meditation garden, library, paved pathways, and a hiking path, all with a refined interior. Included: WiFi, coffee beans and tea, charcoal and propane bbqs, firewood, tv, fishing gear, + canoe. 4.5 star rating by Canada Select. Leaving the cottage empty for three days in between bookings for guest health and safety.

Our cozy wilderness cabin offers total privacy on 50 acres of old growth forest. It offers a stunning view of the North Mountain/Aspy valley out to the distant ocean. Close to Cape Breton Highlands National Park, trails, kayaking/biking, beaches & whale watching. Simple and rustic with deck, kitchenette, bed, BBQ. For weekly rentals-free kayak rental included. Not for the faint of heart with rugged driveway, steep land and wild creatures.
