Home and location were absolutely perfect! Exceeded our expectations, highly recommend! Would love to come back again.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

Of my many Airbnb stays, Laura’s comes up with the very best. Her home is lovely, inside and out, with a lot of fun activities to choose from. Located on a beautiful creek opening to wide water gave us a chance to explore in her kayaks and paddle board. Rainy weather meant indoor board games, reading etc on the beautiful protected porch. The kitchen had all sorts of amenities for cooking. Plenty of bedrooms for sleeping in the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to return there!

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

My family had the pleasure of renting this wonderful home, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. The location was ideal, with both private and public beach access a short drive away. This home is located on a peaceful street, allowing for a good night’s rest. The house itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like a second home. The attention to detail in terms of amenities and extras was impressive. What truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional communication and hospitality provided by the host. Their instructions were clear, concise, and extremely helpful, making it easy for us to settle in and make the most of our short stay. Cape Charles is a charming town, with its quaint shops, restaurants, and theater all conveniently located on Mason Avenue, making it easy to explore and find everything we needed. Maria’s space was a perfect getaway! The house is clean and welcoming! They even had pet bows and toys which I thought was so sweet! Maria was very kind and responsive and gave a lot of great recommendations ! We had Brenda come to the house for a private dinner, and she was also amazing ❤️ 10/10 would stay here again

This charming house is down a private dirt road. Very peaceful surroundings. Saw dolphins upon arrival. There is a small grocery store nearby. We ate at The Table restaurant less than 2 miles away. Food was great. Make sure you make a reservation. If you’re bringing a boat it may be challenging to get it down the one lane dirt road. You will need to use the near by marina to rent a slip. There is no trash pickup at the house. You must drop off trash five minutes up the road from 9-5. Beds and linens were cozy. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was clean. The shed included floats and games. We had everything we needed for our stay. The host checked on us after check in. She was kind and responsive.

Our stay at Small Dream FantaSea was nothing short of amazing. Kevin and Joan have thought of everything and our family immediately felt right at home. Packing for our trip was so easy, given how much was already at the house (towels, chairs, sand toys, games, soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). Our girls loved rides of the golf cart and we were at the beach or at the shops/restaurants in no time. We love how close we were to Central Park and made many visits to play cornhole or go to the playground. This was our family’s first trip to Cape Charles and it certainly won’t be the last. We are so grateful to Kevin and Joan for all they do to make it a great vacation!

House was fabulous! It looks even better than the pictures! Everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It was a girls weekend birthday celebration for 5 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved that each one of us had our own bedroom/bathroom. The view is spectacular. Host very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return next year!!

Our family has been coming to Cape Charles for our summer beach trip for the past 4 years. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! We thought it would be great based on the photos and descriptions, but they honestly cannot do justice to how beautiful the inside of the house and backyard are. As we walked in and unpacked we all just said, "WOW." The house was pristine and very well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable - it's rare for all 5 of us to sleep well on a trip but we all did here. There are so many little details in the decor that we continually admired. The owners have done such a good job making this home a beautiful oasis. Our favorite part was the backyard space and the she shed, and one of my favorite parts was the waterfall shower in the master bath. The location is perfect. Right between the beach and the shops, and right across the street to the market, mini golf, and brewery. 10/10. we can't wait to book again!

My family had a great stay at this place! We had no problem cooking meals at home during our trip and the kids loved the game room. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to walk around, see the local beach, and swim in the private pool. Adam was a great host and gave clear instructions during our stay. Highly recommend!

Joanna went above and beyond on communication and we loved the house! They have put so much effort and love into the house that you really feel at home there. Close enough to walk but perfect for golf carts too. Very close to the park. House exactly as described and anytime we had a question Joanna was super responsive, looking to return next summer!

We had a wonderful stay at Brandon’s place! It was private and beautiful! The house also contained everything we could possibly need from kayaks to a pack and play! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

VIP Cape Charles stay! You are literally steps away from the beach and can sit in your front yard and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. The house was even better than pictured, comfortable, clean and very well stocked with items that made our stay even more convenient. Host was friendly, responsive and even had a box of cookies from a local bakery sent our way as an extra warm welcome. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this Cape Charles property.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful house, especially if you like a lot of room. Great location, close to the beach and restaurants, in a pretty neighborhood of historic homes. So charming. It might make you move to Cape Charles.

5 stars! We have stayed at a number of Airbnbs in the US and Canada over the years. While we have never had a negative experience, this home exceeded ALL our expectations - a tall order indeed when traveling with 3 generations! The property struck a rare balance of serenity and fun. This was our first trip to the Chesapeake Bay and the home was a perfect example of hospitality and beauty we enjoyed around every turn of our adventure.

Joseph’s house is awesome. This was our first time staying in a rental near a beach that actually felt updated and clean. There was plenty to do AT THE HOUSE for our young kids. This has never happened at an air bnb. There’s toys, a stocked kitchen, yard games, etc. the location is perfect and exactly where you’d want to be. The price for what you get out of the rental is the deal of the century….. if we come back to cape Charles, we will only be staying at this place.

My family and I had a great time at Time Out. The location was perfect and we felt so comfortable in Heidi’s home. This was our first time visiting at Cape Charles and we’re already talking about our next trip and booking at Time Out!

First of all, this house and the views are STUNNING. This was the first vacation that I have taken with my fiancé and our 2 pups, and we had the best time--it was such a sad day when we had to leave lol. We basically ordered Doordash and Walmart Pickups the entire time we were there and never left the property during our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cookware you could need, there are kayaks and paddle boards for entertainment, and plenty of floats for relaxing in the bay. There is a little private beach within 1 min walking distance from the house and there is access to the water from the backyard. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation with our pups. I am already working on convincing my fiancé that we need to go back in the near future. 10/10 would recommend.

We love the Haven on the Bay! This was our third year staying here, and we can't rave enough about how perfect a space it is for us. The waterfront view is incredibly peaceful, the sunrise is gorgeous, and the physical space invites great quality time for the group. Ashley was a very gracious host, and was very quick to respond anytime we reached out with a question. We even had the joy of seeing dolphins while we were roasting s'mores around the fire pit!

My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We felt right at home and the house was decorated perfectly for us. The location was great, a quiet street but plenty of things to do in the area. We would recommend Karen's place to anyone traveling in that area. Only wish we had more time to stay.

Eastview is beautiful, the home and the surroundings. There’s plenty of room if you are traveling with a large group.
