House holiday rentals in Carnelian Bay

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

We had the most amazing stay at this Donner Lake/Truckee gem! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip—plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and even ping pong and a hot tub. for the. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, but still close to downtown Truckee and all the outdoor adventures. We went hiking, shopping, and spent the day at West End Beach which is a 10 min drive . The hosts were super kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Highly recommend for families, people with pets (we brought our dog), or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. We can’t wait to come back!

A great, beautiful, place to stay. Grandparents, their children, and grandchildren in the area for daughter’s graduation from UNR, and we all were very comfortable in this spacious house. Beautiyarea to explore also. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol. It was a peaceful neighborhood close to beautiful trails but not far from Truckee and amenities. The house was super well maintained and clean with a desk set-up so I could work and fast internet! We loved the deck and natural light pouring into the home. Thank you for a great stay!

This beautifully remodeled unit in NorthStar at Tahoe feels like home. Thoughtfully decorated, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental. David is the best host! He went out of the way to make check-in super easy for us which is so helpful for arrival on a snowy night with kids in tow. He's extremely accommodating to our questions and requests, and we really really appreciate how responsive he is both before and after the trip. His place is super close to the Northstar resort and is right on the shuttle route, it really can't be more convenient than that. All in all, highly recommend David's place. We had the most amazing time. The place was in the most perfect location and so incredibly peaceful. We loved being able to walk outside on the trail right behind the home. Al was so kind and helpful. He gave us so many great recommendations and was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

Lauren’s home was well appointed, cozy and in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk to the lake very easily with coffee and restaurants super close. The yard was fenced so it was perfect for our dogs. All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Every amenity is of a superior quality. There was enough for all 8 of us and we were grateful for the few spices and condiments we forgot to pack. Recently, hosts are not reachable and automated messages are all that guests have to work with. But Tarana replied to messages quickly and gave us great tips.

Lindsay & Ray were very communicative throughout our entire stay. The place was well located and easy to get to. It was comfortable, clean, had everything we needed and there was a grocery store close by for us to stock up. It felt spacious enough for 6 women and we enjoyed using the fireplace one of the evenings. The neighborhood was very quiet and calm…super peaceful.

We stayed here for a bachelor party. There were 5 of us with plenty of space. TV was large with a nice sound bar. Kitchen was loaded with amenities, well-suited for cooking. The hot tub was a lot of fun, plus there are heat lamps on the deck to warm up. Overall very clean place, with lots of nice extras.

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

Great place in a great and quiet part of town. The kitchen was great and the main space with the large windows was very impressive. Never used the deck since it was full of snow, but I imagine the place is wonderful in the warmer months as well. Would come back anytime.

The house was beautiful and a perfect spot for 6 of us to decompress after a powerlifting competition in Reno. We loved the hot tub and the well outfitted kitchen. The surroundings were beautiful and it was just a quick drive down to the lake. Zhaolei was extremely communicative and and helpful throughout the entire process. We'd love to stay here again.

Staying at Kourtney and Keith’s place could not have been more comfortable and enjoyable— the home was extremely clean, very well-stocked with every kitchen appliance/utensil we needed, and homey in every way. We especially enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and deck. They were very communicative and everything was seamless. I would LOVE to stay here again!!! I highly recommend :)

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the hosts was smooth and thoughtful from start to finish — they clearly care about making their guests feel welcome. The location was great, and we really appreciated the clear check-out instructions (which were super easy). Overall, highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay again!

This has to be the most well equipped place we have ever stayed at. They had everything you could ever need. The house is comfortable and clean. The area is quiet, beautiful and you can walk or a quick drive to the beach area. Alejo was a fantastic host. He gave us recommendations and was very quick to respond to our questions. 5 stars. We would stay here again. It is such a beautiful area.

We had a lovely time staying at Tahoe Bliss! Our group of 8 loved the comfy couches in the living space, had all the tools we needed and more for cooking and baking, enjoyed a soak in the hot tub, and fit perfectly in the bedrooms with room to spare. Great food, rentals, and ski resorts were minutes away. Sean’s responsiveness and flexibility with check-in made our stay stress-free. Thank you!
