We stayed for a few days while skiing nearby. Ananda’s little cabin in the woods was a serene retreat from the world. The furnishings were fashionable and charming, and met our needs. We took advantage of the wonderful sauna. Highly recommended to stay here if you are in the area!

Possibly the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. This house was in spotless condition and looks even better than it does in the pictures. There’s a beautiful view from the back deck. It is the perfect place for a ski getaway and has so much character inside. From the hot tub to the pool table to the pinball machine, we were constantly having fun. Also didn’t have a single issue for the entire stay. 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. Beautiful home, great communication, easy access to skiing, loved the giant mud room ..made it easy to keep ski boots, jackets, ski pants and sneakers for a big crowd. Decent parking for multiple cars. Plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, bath and dish towels and bedding... Hot tub was broken but Julia was on top of getting it fixed ASAP. Would definitely come back!

Loafer’s Lodge is peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and offers something for everyone! Close to Sugarloaf and the Outdoor Center, Loafer’s Lodge was centrally located to all that we wanted to do. Returning back to the house to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain, the cozy living room beside the fire, and the soothing hot tub was beyond any expectations that we had. Looking forward to returning!

We had a fantastic long weekend at this spot - Absolutely beautiful location up on powder ridge, 10 min to the Sunday River base, and the house is perfect for 2-3 families or couples. The host was super responsive and friendly, and access was very easy. The house has 3 bathrooms and 5 great bedrooms, one with 4 bunk beds, so sleeping arrangements for humans aged 2.5 to 41 was great, and the hot tub, grill, and fire pit were all great amenities to have that made the stay excellent. We'll definitely be bookmarking this property for next ski season!

Martha & Jack were very responsive, helpful, and kind. The place was clean and location amazing. It had everything and outdoor area was great. Lots of games and a nice hot tub. Enjoyed every moment.

This house was 5-star location, 5-star views, and plenty of room for our group of 9. The hot tub was lovely way to relax after skiing. Easy drive to mountain and amenities. Our only issue is that we all would have loved more comfortable places to sit in the living room with the lovely view. The seating was very limited, no couches and only two comfortable chairs (plus two uncomfortable ones). If you like us look at the photos and imagine yourself spending a lot of time there, just a warning that the seating doesn’t really allow for that with your group and that the fireplaces cannot be used.

This was the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! So clean, perfectly supplied with everything you would need, super friendly and responsive, included snack/drink basket, and was close to Sunday River! The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly.

We stayed at Haley's for our wedding weekend with a group of friends. It was really easy to find and checkin. When we arrived Haley checked in with us via message to make sure we were able to get in to the place. The house was spotless and everything was as described and matched the photos on the listing. It is about 10 minute drive to Sugarloaf for skiing or other activities. Plan to drive to/from mountain as there is no shuttle pick up and it is not walkable (we knew this ahead of time). The home is 3 floors with 1-2 bedrooms on each floor and 1 bathroom each floor. We really liked that the bedrooms weren't all on one floor as it added some privacy. The lowest level and main level each have modest sized kitchens. The house is only accessible by walking up or down stairs. We really enjoyed being able to use the hot tub during our stay and being able to bring our Greyhound with us. We highly recommend Haley and this home! We'd love to stay here again. Thank you!

We just returned from the most outstanding stay at Castle Rock Lodge. My large group of 10 people, 3 generations ranging in age from 4 to 80 years, thoroughly enjoy themselves. From the gorgeous and comfortable cabin, to the waterfront with fire pit and small boats, to the vast woods with trails for adventures, no one wanted to leave. The setting was so serene and peaceful, we felt totally removed from the world (no worries, Walmart is 25min away). We truly hope to return to Castle Rock Lodge.

We had a terrific stay! Lisa and Jon's place is beautiful, with scenic views of the lake and surrounding Rangeley. The place was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great time skiing at Saddleback mountain. Loved interacting with Lisa and Jon, who made the stay pleasant and memorable

Michael was a very thoughtful and responsive host, with clear instructions and proactive handling of situations. The house itself was very beautiful and comfortably slept everyone in my party of 8. We would definitely recommend AWD and snow tires for those visiting in the middle of winter. There was a huge snowstorm during our visit and Michael was clear about when the plow would be visiting, although we did have to wait a few hours and shovel ourselves out a little bit, but there were shovels on the property to add to the ones we brought in our cars. We felt there was a longer list of checkout instructions compared to other properties but we also felt that Michael and Maggie provided a greater number and higher quality of amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen and bar area. We would definitely visit again to try out the hot tub and boat in the summer. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us for the weekend!

There’s nothing like having your morning coffee while listening to the loons calling. During our stay, we were spoiled with gorgeous fall weather that really highlighted this beautiful lake home and wonderful property. Outside, we enjoyed fishing off the dock, the wonderful landscaping and the lovely porches. Inside, the kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals, the fireplace room provided exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted for a lake house getaway, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable and as described. It was a delightful stay for everyone in our group of 9 (all ages, from 1 to 68), and we highly recommend it! Terrific and friendly host, clear instructions for check in and check out, and a superb location.

Nova’s place is so spacious and peaceful. Everything looked great and was cozy and accommodating. Fall on the lake is amazing!

Cheryl’s home was absolutely a “piece of heaven”! Her home is beautiful and in the loveliest spot right on the water! Everything was spotless when we arrived, with a welcome note from our hosts with their contact information. The house was exactly as described - comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, great family room with tv. The outside was perfect - fire pit with lots of chairs, gas grill, dock for easy access to the water! They had several kayaks available! The pond was clear and calm. Cheryl and Mike we gracious hosts, very responsive but gave us plenty of privacy. Se would highly recommend their home!

We had a fantastic stay as a group of four adults and two kids. Jason was an excellent host—he responded within minutes and was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, with appliances that seemed brand new. There were plenty of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. We loved the brand new Weber gas grill, which we used every day. The fireplace was well supplied with wood, adding a cozy touch. The lake is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by nature—we even spotted a deer!

Fast and easy drive up from Portland, but then suddenly you are tucked in the woods and away from the bustle. Newly built and yet comfy, well laid out, and well equipped like it’s already established. The view is great, lots of decks and peaceful setting, was great to settle in and watch a loon floating on the lake. Easy walk around the edge of the lake to the great Italian restaurant for a fantastic meal. Quick drive to Farmington for more options. Kitchen was equipped enough to boil lobsters, set up a real meal, and entertain. Then we drifted out to the yard and fire pit and enjoyed a fantastic evening around the fire in chairs with moonlight shining off the lake. Ok, that was the last night, it was POURING for the first part of our stay, with the house proving to be warm and cozy, well equipped with games, and the hot tub perfect. Will absolutely look to stay here again when we return in the fall.
