Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Casco Township

Location was perfect, quiet street, and clean as expected.

We came to South Haven for a Porsche Club weekend at Gingerman. The house was comfortable, well stocked and very convenient to the track, in fact, we walked over. Dennis was a good host and responded quickly to our messages.

Great peaceful location to stay while visiting the Saugatuck, Holland, and South Haven areas. Easy drive to wineries and surrounding locations. Property is wooded and private which adds to the experience. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals, and all amenities met our expectations. Owners are super responsive and share a love of using a label maker to help guest with quickly adapting to a new home during the stay.

We loved this house for our little family vacation. There was plenty of room for our family. We loved the room that was perfect for a family with toddlers. The books and playroom made it even more exciting for our littles. The front porch was so peaceful, kitchen was adorable, and bedrooms were perfect size. Location was also perfect with plenty of parks nearby as well as quick drive or walk to beach. The backyard was also fenced in which and there was also lots of outdoor toys to keep the little busy in the backyard and at the beach.

Always love staying at Happy Z’s! The house is very clean and it’s just a short walk to a neighborhood beach and a 5 minute drive to downtown. Great location. Cheryl is a wonderful host.

This rental was perfect for my extended family. There are a lot of bedrooms with very comfortable beds. There are many couches and chairs inside as well as seating and tables outside. There were toys and games for the adults and grandkids. The view of the lake is spectacular, and the beach was great. It's a short drive for groceries and the towns of South Haven and Saugatuck are very close and have many shops. Amy was a great host, very attentive and helpful. If you are looking for a large lakefront home, I would recommend this one.

Beautiful home, peaceful, quiet, clean and private setting. We enjoyed our stay so much, felt right at home. Well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Me, my husband, two boys and our dog had a wonderful stay. Hot tub was so nice, the game room was awesome for my boys. Brian was a great host. This has topped our list of stays. Would love to come back and stay again sometime.

We celebrated a camp themed birthday at Terrence's place and it was a great spot to host our large group of 19 guests. There was enough space for everyone to spend time together and we had a great weekend. The house is equipped with 5 bedrooms and a lofted space with many beds single and bunk beds which was great to ensure all of our guests had a proper place to sleep. We utilized the kitchen in the larger gathering space for all of our meals and the two ovens were very helpful. We enjoyed hanging out in the yard and played many games outside. We BBQ'd, watched the stars and got to spend much needed time together. It was a great trip! There are beaches nearby and the beaches at South Haven were only about a 15 minute drive from the house which is where we spent an afternoon. We would utilize Terrence's space again for any large gatherings we have in MI in the future.

This is a really good location for those wanting to be between Saugatuck and Holland. The one thing I want to point out is how much daylight comes in very early in the morning. If you like to sleep in a little, good luck! Other than that, Beth’s place was cozy, comfy and very clean.

Everything was squeaky clean and just as described. Would recommend 10/10!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place was even more beautiful that the pictures showed, and was in a quiet, peaceful area. Close distance to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. Also is ~10 min to Virtue Cider and Fenn Valley Winery. It was the perfect spot for my partner and I, and our two dogs. Sara was an awesome host and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This was my second time staying here and I’ll always return if it’s available. Harry and Nancy are incredible hosts that go above and beyond to make sure you feel you’re at your second home. My daughter couldn’t get over how beautiful and comfortable is was!

We are not the most traveled couple, but this place ranks among our favorites. It truly did feel like home. Everything was top quality from the linens, to the towels, even the toilet paper. The kitchen had absolutely everything and more. Pantry and Fridge was well stocked with basics and it was a joy to cook breakfast every morning. The property is stunning with beautiful landscaping and gardens. We were in the area for the weekend to visit friends at a campground just up the road, and we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The mother in law suite was perfect for my husband and I during our mini get away. The location was perfectly in the middle where we were able to visit both Holland and Saugatuk. It is smaller than expected but doesn’t feel crowded, it’s the right size for 2 people. The location is very quiet and private, and parking is right by the door. I believe it is a shared space to the house next door, but that was no biggie. As far as the highway noise, didn’t bother us at all. Being from the city, we are used to it but they did have a white noise machine which we tried out and worked well. Quiet, private & clean. 10/10.

Absolutely loved our time in Douglas, and our stay in this unit. Timothy was always extremely responsive, and the listing was peaceful, private and exactly as described. Definitely recommend!

Excellent. Easy instructions. Robyn friendly and helpful. As soon as we walked in . I said Adorable! Perfect for a couple. Celebrating my birthday and was the Perfect spot. Highlight for us was using the pool at Ship n Shore. To sit n relax on the lounge chairs and look at the beautiful boats going by. And by the way it was never crowded there. In fact quite open. Lovely location. We enjoyed sitting on the porch having our coffee. Cozy unit. Felt great and comfortable and homey.

This was a great location. very close to downtown. You could walk downtown rather than trying to find a parking space. The view was great. we didn't have a problem with noise, but we stayed in February so there weren't neighbors. The shops and restaurants were still vibrant and had a good amount of people. The place was very clean and comfortable. had some trouble finding the place. There is a different address on the front of tow building. the correct address was on the door. The hosts were repaonsive and helpful. We had a great stay.

The condo was as advertised. Clean, organized, quiet and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our annual family visit.

Nice condo in heart of Douglas. Would be great place during the "on season". I was there due to a power failure and its the off season so there's not many people around. Very clean place, newer appliances and great internet. Would rent again.

This was the perfect place for us! It was only a few minutes drive from downtown. Could walk to the beach if you wanted. Kitchen had all the amenities. We didn't get to use the outdoor areas due to the time of year but would be so nice in another season. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Beaches are clean and sunsets are beautiful. It's only about a 30 minute or less drive to St. Josephs, Benton Harbor, Saugatuck, Holland. We did them all! Would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect. It’s right in the middle of the main street with all the shops and restaurants, and the south beach is a short walk along the river.

Thank you, Ashley, for a wonderful stay! We loved the privacy and comfort here, the ease of access to interstate and everywhere we wanted to explore. Very clean and calm! Appreciated the intentional touches - coffee, laundry pods, bug spray (mosquitoes were brutal one night). Covered parking spot was nice, great communication and availability/flexibility from host. Great, peaceful stay, we would return! Only tip for future guests is to bring an eye mask for sleeping, bedroom is a bit bright from outdoor lights.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our short 2 night midweek stay here. Excellent location that is close to the beach and downtown Saugatuck. The heated pool and gas fire pits were really nice after we got back from a day of exploring the area. Isabel’s was just a short walk across the parking lot - great bakery, coffee shop, and market with unique foodie options. We would love to come back here.
