Equally enjoyable and interesting walks can be enjoyed in the historic villages and Ports of the region, especially after night fall. Port du Cap d’agde, Port du Sete, Port de Bouzigues, Port de Marseillan The close proximity of the canal du midi and l’herault to the chateau provides a tranquil place to enjoy a walk. Festival and Entertainment Lovers Very close lies the historic 17th century market town of Pezenas, where Moliere played for the Prince De Conti. It offers a multitude of events, expositions, concerns and plays. It is also well known for its antique shops and markets. Only 25 minutes away is Montpellier nicknamed ‘la surdouee’ the gifted. It is a vibrant town with numerous walks, old town and an abundance of festivals. Sete and it’s famous theater also offers events all year long. Food and Drink Lovers The region offers many interesting regional products for your tasting pleasure. Discover the ‘figues becos’ a type of fig from Nezignan Leveque, Le Petit pate de Pezenas. Fish and seafood and of course wine as the region is the single biggest wine producing region in the world. We have selected a range of regional produce from the surrounding villages, (no more than 7km from the chateau) which you can purchase in the chateau’s little shop. Charming apartment on the ground floor of an 18th century building in the historic heart of Pézenas. Everything on foot! Visit the city center, museums, shops, artisans, antique shops and flea markets, restaurants galore! My small 35 m2 two-room apartment offers comfort and quality services for 2 people: equipped kitchen, TV living room, high-speed Wi-Fi internet, 160 cm bed, bathroom with shower, washing machine, linen included. All you have to do is settle in and cocoon!

Grenadiers

We welcome you to the ground floor of a village house, winegrower style close to the church and the shops of the city center. Absolute tranquility and silence in this small loft adjoining a large sunny courtyard. Swing, hammock, deckchairs, barbecue and outdoor shower. The beach is 13 minutes by car or a little more by bike by taking a path through the vineyards and the bike path. Lido Beach separates the lagoon that is the Étang de Thau and the Mediterranean Sea.

At the bottom of the house, take a walk through the vineyards or you can reach the river and swim there in the summer. Supermarket and tobacco store a two-minute walk from the house. No restaurant in the village, you will have to go to Pézenas. 30 minutes from the beaches of Marseillan. 45 minutes from Montpellier 20 minutes from Béziers. 30 minutes from Lac du Salagou.
