This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

We are a couple who are committed to living in these mountains and decided to restore an old house respecting the original materials - stone and chestnut wood. "Casa Folibar" is a small house with stone walls, built in 1935 and restored in 2021. It is all open-plan and has only one floor. It is located in a small town called Manzanedo de Valdueza, a town in the municipality of Ponferrada, located in Bierzo. The house has a maximum capacity for two people, but it is ideal for couples, as it is distributed in a double bed and a sofa bed. It also has a kitchen and bathroom.
