House in the Hamlet on the Gola del Sagittario x 2

House immersed in a quiet and characteristic village, at the foot of the Sagittario gorges, for trekking on the river, picnics in the reserve, 15-20 minutes from Lake Villalago, Scanno, Sulmona. Where time stands still and you can enjoy the sound of the river, play sports, visit hermitages, go to festivals and experience culinary tastings in the area. In a place where children play in the square and coffee is accompanied by chatter and greetings. It's impossible not to fall in love with it.

The house among olive trees

A cottage made up of stone and timber built on two storeys, with a large living room, glass window, a couch for two people and a bathroom with sauna; on the second storey there is a double bedroom. Outdoors, there is a large garden with a porch equipped with BBQ and a wooden table. The site is located on the pleasant hills between Bellegra and Olevano Romano. We have currently added two beds, set up in a wonderful Indian teepe available for two extra guests in addition to the four ones.

Ideal place to relax surrounded by nature, for long walks and cycling, horseback riding, visits to the hermitages. A few kilometers away: Sora, the enchanting waterfall of Isola del Liri, Lake Posta Fibreno, Zompo il Schioppo nature reserve, Sponga Park, the castle of Balsorano, the tunnels of Claudio and Alba Fucens.

Glamping Abruzzo - The Yurt

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

My accommodation is close to Sulmona, a stone's throw from Lake Scanno and the Abruzzo National Park. My place is good for couples and hikers who love peace and nature. Inside the WWF Sagittarius Gorges oasis where bears, wolves, deer, golden eagles, coral gracchus and other rare and interesting animals live. There are many species of rare or endemic plants such as the Cornflower of Sagittarius.
