Cabin holiday rentals in Catawba County

This was our second stay at Andrew's, and it was just as amazing as the first. The house is always perfectly clean, and has every amenity that we need. The views with the 360 windows make you feel like you're in a tree house, and the skylights are amazing at night for looking up at the stars. The hot tub is super clean, easy to use, and completely private with a perfect view of nature. There are so many awesome hikes in the area, and we love stopping at the Mercantile a few minutes down the road for meals. 10/10. Will definitely come back as much as we can!

This home met all of our needs and accommodated all of our wants, from the home itself to the hot tub and firepit! Central to many outdoor activities and very accessible. Just a tip, Apple Maps wasn’t as accurate as Google maps. Be sure to check the address Apple Maps selects. Eric was accessible the whole time and we had a great trip.

Very cozy and comfortable. Loved the peaceful setting. Very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Will definitely visit again!

I can’t say enough positive things about the cabin and the host, Shannon. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome note and freshly picked hydrangeas! The cabin is adorable and private! Shannon was phenomenal with communication and helpful tips for the stay! 12/10 recommend and we will for sure be back!

Good Vibes Only was the perfect getaway! And we fell in love with the location as well. When you stayed at Peter’s you felt like you were in your own little universe! We enjoyed every amenity offered and Peter shared many hiking trips that let us fall in love with the surroundings. Thank you!!

Our stay was very nice. We had 5 couples and the house is so roomy we never got in each others way. We would stay again.

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay! Absolutely beautiful location, the cabin was stunning and comfortable, and the creek!! The bed was sooo comfortable, the coffee and snacks were much appreciated! Just a perfect stay! Would recommend to everyone!

Super responsive and accommodating hosts

This is definitely a “happy place” for us. My husband and I along with our 2 small days enjoy this peaceful retreat. It’s lakefront and has a clean grassy yard. We enjoy swimming, paddling and looking at fireflies on summer evenings.

Place was great! Beautiful location. You do need to be able to climb stairs to stay at this Airbnb. Views of the lake were incredible.

Stayed for several months while working remotely. Beautiful place in both winter and spring. Several gorgeous hiking trails nearby. Cabin is extremely cozy with a great private fire pit area in the back. Charcoal & gas grills provided. Very fast/reliable WiFi for streaming, Zoom calls, etc. Amazing host. William is super friendly and always willing to drop whatever he’s doing and answer any questions or provide assistance when needed. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

Loved our Fathers Day weekend getaway! House is very nice and the dock and fire pit was a favorite. Would recommend it for a small family. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance.

There isn’t enough space to say everything that is marvelous about this gem on the lake. They carved this space out of gorgeous woods so carefully, you’re surrounded by lush forests and birdsong. The water is cool and clear , and the shore is so much more firm than other NC lakes. Makes it easy to ease into the water before the dropoff to accommodate a boat. And since it’s a natural lake, you don’t have to worry about fluctuating lake levels and consistent depth for hopping off the dock. Their offering of kayaks was a selling point, and we had such a great time going up and down the waterway. Boat traffic wasn’t bad, even on a beautiful Saturday. The deck is so deep and wide, it was a close second for my favorite spot. On a clear day, be sure to enjoy sunset on the dock! Pack light and enjoy the bliss that is a purposeful, uncluttered space. They provide everything you need for a perfect stay!!!

What a beautiful, fun location! We enjoyed the historical and Hunger Games aspects of the property...so unique and interesting. The house is just as pictured and yes, the bathrooms are that amazing! It was neat to watch the show that featured the restoration and then notice all the special touches in how the place is decorated. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

We had a great weekend away relaxing at the lake! Lynne’s place was the perfect spot for our group of girls and she was very responsive when we had a few questions. She had great accommodations inside (towels, linens, kitchen items, shower items, etc.). We greatly enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay with Lynne again!

What a beautiful setting! Secluded as you could want and amazing lake front living. Christy is a very responsive host and has every detail laid out for guests. The inside of the home is full of character, with an awesome cabin feel, plenty of space, and a great kitchen! There is plenty of wild life and our stay was very relaxing. The only area of the stay that could use some attention/more effort, would be the stairs on the way to the dock, the beach area and the dock itself. Overall, we absolutely recommend staying here and making memories with your family.

This is an incredible little getaway place. It is certainly a hidden gem. I feel the photos do not do it justice. You have to experience it yourself. Everything was extremely convenient. Plenty of parking with a circular driveway. Plenty of room for a boat trailer. The dock is absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough about the host. They truly went above and beyond for everything. We had a fantastic day would highly recommend and would love to come back someday soon. Do not hesitate to book this one.
