Apartment holiday rentals in Catedral District

Excellent location especially if you are a vegan! There were about 5 vegan restaurants within a 6 block radius. The unit itself was clean, spacious for 1-2 guests, and had all the necessary supplies and amenities you would need. I had no trouble sleeping, but bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise as there are trains passing by throughout the day. Walkable and safe neighborhood with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to wander into.

This was an excellent unit. Much cozier and comfortable than many I’ve stayed in. When I arrived, there was a broken window shade. I let the host know and they immediately offered to fix it! They were also very understanding when I broke a pitcher of water on the ground. Thanks!

It is an excellent place to stay. It has everything you need and more. The pool, gym and play and rest areas give it a plus. I felt calm and safe with my child. Jennifer is a great host

Raquel's place was perfect for our stay, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bed and sheets. It was great having a washer AND dryer in the unit. The location in Los Yoses and near Escalante was a real plus. We have found that generally you don't need air conditioning in San Jose, but it was nice to be able to turn it on for 15 minutes or so, when the heat and humidity was a little high. I think we used it twice in our 17 days there. A great place to stay and we loved being on the 20th floor. Note that there is a train that goes by the front of the building and if the door to the balcony is open it is loud. However, for some reason it never bothered us. It stopped at bedtime. We would definitely stay again.

I said that Giovanni’s during my first trip to Costa Rica. Location was great. There were tons of things to do nearby. The building is very secure and the food was really good. Downstairs at the pasta bar, but also nearby restaurants never takes more than four or five minutes for an Uber to arrive at the condo. Definitely work. Price and I will definitely stay there again. Next time that I’m in San Jose.

I had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb in San Jose! The apartment was absolutely perfect—clean, stylish, and super comfortable. The building itself was beautiful and felt very secure, with great amenities. One of the best parts was the location—surrounded by walkable streets, cute cafes, restaurants, and shops all just steps away. Everything I needed was within reach, and it made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here if you want the perfect mix of comfort and convenience! I’ll be back!!

STAY HERE!! What a find. The view, the apt, the location - this place has everything and more. The apartment itself is so gorgeous and cool looking - 3 balconies! - plus the views over the city were absolutely beautiful no matter if what time of day - sunrise or sunset! The manager - Pam - was super friendly and responsive - 100% the best host I've ever dealt with - she went above and beyond, supassing all expectations. Plus I was able to walk into the center of San Jose - to all the shops, museums, restaurants, etc. If alking isn't your thing - uber was only a couple bucks from this location as well. The building itself is very secure as well. Hot water was very fast in the luxurious shower as well. Excellent coffee maker and kitchen necessities. Super comfy bed too. I never wanted to leave!!! I may even change my future plans (I'm returning to San Jose in June/July) so I can stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This apartment is the one I would like to stay at every time I have to go to San Jose. After a busy day in the city, it's the perfect place to relax and rest, it is very quiet neighborhood and the location is very convenient as it is very easy to get to. The kitchen is well equipped, with good stainless steel pots so I would have even be able to cook a meal! Very comfortable bed, a perfect walk-in closet and all the appliances I needed. Sheyla is very helpful and attentive, she replies promptly to all messages and is very kind! I highly recommend this apartment and hope to be able stay here on my next trip to San José!

Lymon is beyond exceptional as a Host and as an individual. Every time I sent a message to Lymon he responded quickly. The building is very secure with a guard at the front gate. Location is central and was just what I needed. I had just underwent major surgery. The second day at his flat I realized I needed support and help. I messaged Lymon via Airbnb - my crisis number at the time and within 30 minutes someone was at my door to help me! Edith, my angel, is so awesome! She truly is a gem; she helped me with everything in the condo and came by twice a day to make sure I was ok. I did pay her; that’s just normal. I am so very grateful and privileged to have met these 2 special souls. If you have any questions let me know!

I've stayed at three different luxury buildings in San Jose and this was by far the best. The location is central, and you have all the trappings of a resort at your disposal: two pools, a gym, sauna and lovely rooftop spaces for working and lounging, with great views. There's an upscale food court across from the building, where everything is excellent, including the coffee at Cafe Etiopia, and even a small convenience store. The place costs a little bit more than some like it, but we were glad to have the two bathrooms. We discovered a bunch of "hidden" amenities, like umbrellas, rain ponchos, and extra chargers. In the kitchen you even have an air fryer, blender, and toaster. Communication with the host was cordial and prompt. We'd not only come back again, but would buy a condo just like this one if we hit the lottery.

We have stayed in many apartments in the Escalante and Los Yoses area of San Jose. This is the only one we have found that is reasonably QUIET! We were not awakened by the train beginning at 5:00 am or the road noise beginning at 6:00 am. In addition, it has great views of the city and has comfortable furniture and an effective floor plan. It is a great apartment that we will seek to rent every time we come to San Jose! Ed and Javier are wonderful hosts who work themselves, not a rental agency. They responded to inquiries immediately and were proactive. They were very committed to creating a wonderful experience.

Yanitxa, I have stayed in 10-12 of the units in Nucleo Sabana and this had the best fit for me. Exceptional comfortable, all new linens and fixtures, corner suite and a wonderful ambient sound of the river below. And a mid stay check in from the host making sure I was comfortable and requiring of anything else. I could not recommend a place more highly!

Loanna and Pablo were spectacular hosts, they even helped me with unforeseen situations, and they solved them very kindly, the apartment is in a very quiet and accessible area. It was easy to get to the places we wanted to visit and the security when entering is very good. The apartment had everything we needed to spend our stay in San Jose. You can rest well, there are pets nearby but in general the noise didn't bother us. I thank you for your attentions, I felt at home. I 100% recommend your apartment. We hope to return soon.
