Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Denmark Region

We had a wonderful weekend at Robert's cottage. It is in a fantastic location by the water and in general the cottage is in very good condition. Beds, furniture and equipment were really good - especially inside and nothing was missing. There was good communication and help from start to finish, which was really good. There were a few small challenges that were solved immediately with the help of Robert, so all in all a super experience. We definitely dream of going there again.

My best stay in Denmark so far! Plenty of space, and everything is taken care of to perfection. Tidy and clean. The space is even better than in the photos! The bed was the best so far in Denmark. Usually they are very hard, but this one was perfect.

The most beautiful place - in the city and yet quite calm and not least scenic. The finest land, violently hilly and with the finest path down into a beautiful, beautiful forest. Comfortable accommodation - good beds - all desired amenities. Else is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay - I think I will come again - next time in the company of my husband.

What a beautiful spot! Rural location, by a river. But at a relatively short driving distance from a supermarket. The house is equipped with all comforts: dishwasher, washing machine, bedding, towels, chromecast etc. And Jørgen and Janne are the best hosts! So incredibly helpful, friendly, attentive and thoughtful. He helped us with a flat tire and Janne brought a homemade cake because it was her birthday. Great! We are eternally grateful to them. If we are around again, we will definitely come back. And the dog came by every day, very cozy! Lots of forest in the area where you can walk and close to Aarhus & Silkeborg

In June, we spent three relaxing days in the historic Thyholm fishermen's house. We were particularly impressed by the careful renovation of the thatched roof building, which has largely retained its historic character. The open-plan and light-flooded living area offers all modern amenities. The interior is of high quality and harmoniously coordinated, complemented by lovingly selected decorations. In addition, the spacious garden with a magnificent view of the fjord and numerous cozy retreats extends the living space into nature.

Returned for the 2nd time and as was the case last time, Carolina was the best host! Very proactive, while respecting privacy. Will be booking for a 3rd time for sure!

This was the PERFECT place to be after a very long day of travel: quiet, peaceful and oh so beautiful. The location was perfect for our plans. Trine and Nicolas went above and beyond with their friendly and welcoming nature. The space was perfect, water pressure was great in the shower and one of the most comfortable beds and linens I’ve ever had in an Airbnb. I hope I can return to Denmark someday, and if I do, I will be sure to return. Absolutely loved our stay.

We had a very nice stay in Hendrik's lovingly furnished apartment. The small renovated courtyard is idyllically located and we were able to relax very well. The center of Aarhus is 10 minutes away by car. Everything was perfect and we would come again.

We had a really lovely time at Katrine‘s flat. Everything looked just like in the pictures. Katrine has a great taste for interior design and coffee :) We also loved hanging out on the balcony and would love to come back anytime. Katrine is easy to communicate with & was very flexible with our check-out. The area is beautiful and not too far from the city centre.

Great apartment located in a quiet and natural environment. The apartment is very well maintained and equipped with everything you need, the garden and terrace are also very nice and a charcoal grill is available. Despite the quiet location, we were at the beach or in the next town in a few minutes by car. We highly recommend the apartment, our daughter (1.5 years old) also liked the bright surroundings very much. All in all, a very nice vacation.

The flat is situated in a lovely neighbourhood. the view over the harbour and the pool is magnificant. The flat is well equipped and offers all you need. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance as well as the bus stop.

If I could give 6 stars, I did! The sweetest hosts, top-notch service, and everything is in the middle of the loveliest green paradise with a garden and forest right at your fingertips. It was simply a pleasure from start to finish – I will definitely be back!

We loved Nooras Appartment! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. But the highlight is the location: you are directly in the city center and at the Harbour, with a beautiful view over the water. Restaurants und shops are nearby. This also means, that it is noisy at night as a bar nearby plays loud music outside. But with the windows closed, that is no problem. We totally recommend this beautiful place and would love to come back!

Great apartment, very cozy, with everything you need. Clean bathroom, linens, towels. Great location, close to everything, walking distance. If I go back to Aarhus, I will definitely stay in the same place.

We had a lovely stay at Karrina’s place. It was cosy, clean and as described. We didn’t spend a huge amount of time in the apartment, as we were out exploring most of the time, so we didn’t need to use the kitchen, but it looked well equipped. I travelled with my young son and was happy to share the bed as needed, but Karrina very kindly offered to leave a futon style fold out mattress which meant we both got more sleep! We arrived in to Aarhus at 12.30pm, but Karrina told us we were unable to check in until after 4pm, she did however offer for us to store our bags in the basement if needed. Things to note, Check in was simple and straightforward Everything was clean, especially linens and towels were lovely and fluffy. The apartment is accessed by stairs only and it’s the top apartment in the building so not ideal if you have any mobility issues. Floorboards are pretty squeaky throughout - so if you’re travelling with a light sleeper this is worth keeping in mind! Location is fab.

Patrick’s place was a fabulous find, I loved every minute of my stay. Just wished I could have stayed longer, but it was booked. Do not hesitate to book if available.

Very nice, especially for the price. Don't expect the largest kitchen, but if all you need is a small table for two, and a bed. Then it's perfect, especially with the location so close to the city. Super cozy little garden, with the sound of rippling water. Super sweet hosts who live upstairs.

"As it would be at home in France", Peder and Kirsten are simply beautiful people: kind, respectful, cautious about the happiness of their hosts. Very touching little touches to please. As for the place... (4 days) it is a small paradise by the lake, an extraordinary view with a fantastic sunset and possibility of breakfast with swans, numerous and diverse birds in a refreshing peace. The place has everything you need, very comfortable beds with a magical lake view. Multiple hikes or walks are possible. Summer activities for everyone. We highly recommend coming to take a magical break in this caring home. The value for money is great. We wish Kristen and Peder a nice continuation.

Lona and Henrik are lovely hosts. They take care of the guests. They are there to welcome you with a smile. The apartment is in a very good location. The condition was impeccable. Nothing to complain about... the apartment and the hosts are worth the trip. Thank you!

The perfect location, very close to the center, close to restaurants, but quiet. Buses are also very close.

We had a very relaxing night in Helle's apartment. We were very warmly welcomed and even received tips for the evening program. The apartment was clean and as described. We felt completely comfortable ☺️
