Holiday rentals with breakfast in Central New York

I had a wonderful stay at The Nest house in Kerhonkson. The home was clean, well cared for, and incredibly comfortable — the straw bale construction provided the perfect environment for me as I am sensitive to air quality and temperature. I truly felt more at ease here than I have in quite some time. I am primarily homebound and came up from the city to try and get some fresh air and nature. The property was perfect for this. I spent many hours on the couch watching birds, a fox, a woodchuck, and the trees out the window. I even managed to spend a bit of time out on the porch, listening to bird songs, the wind chimes, and the wind in the trees. It was the perfect setting to relax and recharge. Kristin was an outstanding host — accommodating, communicative, and kind — the check-in process was a breeze and she was very responsive to my mobility needs. This was a healing and restorative space, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to nature.

Our stay was great from start to finish. The host was very communicative prior to check in and throughout our stay. I had a ton of questions and she took time to answer them all. She was accommodating to our situation and so sweet to wish our son good luck at his basketball tournament! The house was amazing, cozy clean and as my son said "staked". I couldn't find a light for candles, and the hosts dropped on a lighter with a new candle, with no interruption of the stay. Normally we go out to eat when we are traveling for tournaments but this place was so cozy we decided to make dinner there. We also brought our pups - and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure our fur babies had a wonderful stay as well. If we're ever in the area again we will booking here for sure! PS...the beds....oh the beds...were something from a dream.

We were extremely pleased with Shinto and his house. The house and the surrounding area were more beautiful than the pictures could capture. Shinto was a very accommodating and I couldn’t ask for a better host. Will definitely be returning asap!

From the time the booking was accepted, any questions were promptly answered by Steve. Instructions to the house were clear and concise. Both Steve and his wife were congenial and wanted to ensure our stay would be comfortable and that we had everything we needed. A continental breakfast was available each day so that we could eat breakfast and start the day without having to find a restaurant. From the living room, we watched squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. Their dog is friendly, too! It's definitely a place we would choose again when in the area. Quiet and clean!

We loved staying at Erin’s place. Very private, yet so close to all the nearby towns and parks. The place was so comfortable, clean, great bed and linens, and easy to hang out and relax. For sure would love to come again!

Thank you Adam and Kelly! We had a wonderful stay for our 30th reunion at Cornell, and your house was perfect for our group of four. The surroundings were gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The fridge was amazingly well-stocked, including farm-fresh eggs, and the kitchen well-equipped for those who want to self-cater. The deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee—nothing quite beats hearing bird song as a way of starting your day. We all loved it and highly recommend this tranquil treasure!

Miguel is a great host. He was really helpful and responsive. His house was extremely well equipped and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Probably our best Airbnb experience in the US.

We enjoyed our stay at Brendan’s house , very peaceful area , the house is old but clean and in nature we loved it . Brendan makes sure that everything goes well and gave us a lot of informations about hike trails , restaurants and things to do in the area .

I wish I could give Deb and Doug 1000 stars! The apartment was amazing, truly a home away from home! The kitchen was STOCKED with everything you would need from a waffle maker, pans, to coffee/tea, to eggs! Deb even made us homemade gingerbread cookies which were DELICIOUS. Two out of the four days that we stayed, we actually made breakfast and ate in the dining room! And saw hummingbirds out of the window!! The living room was super cozy and we made great use of the electric fireplace (The weather was still in the 50s when we went). It also had a very comfy sofa bed which I slept on while my parents took the bedroom. They said their bed was super comfy too! There was even a noise machine in the bedroom along with some fans (they really thought of everything!). The apartment was also incredibly quiet and private. And we honestly didn't even pay much mind to the low ceilings. We're all around 5'7" and we had absolutely no issues! We cant wait to visit again, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lynne and John, for your gracious hospitality!

We have stayed at Lorene's place several times and have always been grateful to be here. Lorene is so accommodating and welcoming. The place is in a beautiful location, the physical house is well appointed with the things in the kitchen and bathroom providing what we need, and it is convenient to hiking and other activities.

This was our second stay at Salma's house, so we felt even more at home. It's in my old neighborhood before I moved to CA -- a great location to take in the peaceful street, stately homes, and cool places to eat. Salma was super responsive to my need for fragrance-free linens. I love the front porch for morning tea. Such a beautiful and comfortable house. Salma also provides the little touches that make it special. Thanks again, Salma!

We had a great stay - the place was super clean and organized. Heather even left us granola bars, oatmeal and milk cream for breakfast. Instructions were very clear and the place is as it is in the description. We definitely enjoyed our stay and how convenient it is located in the city. Highly recommended!

Cheri’s place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I got in later than expected and was greeted by homemade pumpkin bread! If you stay, be sure to check out the bakery across the street.

The apartment was very comfortable. The fresh eggs and other breakfast items were a great surprise. The location was perfect for let us get away from Dreams Park between games. Our daughters had a great time feeding the animals and jumping on the trampoline.

Cathy did everything for us to help us feel at home and we really did. Although the weather was rainy and cold we enjoyed the warmth of her welcome with extra blankets and fresh huge muffins. Cathy accommodated all our needs, she is very friendly and we highly recommend staying at her charming place.

Brenda’s Airbnb was a hidden oasis! Nestled on a quiet street, we had the entire lower level to ourselves - which was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a tranquil escape.

This was our second stay at Patty and Liam’s place, and we loved it just as much! Cozy space, gorgeous view, and close to both trails and towns. The included breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade maple syrup. Liam was super welcoming and shared great local tips. Don’t miss the unit with the hot tub—it was a real treat after days filled with hiking. Highly recommend it!

Linda's place looked very nice and the location was convenient for me. It wasn't until I pulled up to the home, that I realized that I had stayed there before nine years ago. Linda didn't realize I had stayed there before when I booked the place. It was great as it was before. I was able to come and go as I please and had my own bedroom and bathroom. Everything I needed was there. Linda allowed me to use her computer a few times for work I had to do which meant I didn't have to lug around my laptop. She put out breakfast every morning and I had nice conversations with Linda and her husband. I plan on making more frequent visits to the area to see family and I will always check to see if Linda's place is available. Wonderful host and great place to stay.

Could not have asked for a better Airbnb experience! Donna made us feel right at home. Her place was like a mini historical step back in time/art museum. My friends abs I enjoyed the local hiking trails recommendations since our plans to ski fell through with the warmth warm up. We also had the most deliciously prepared home cook meals that was an absolute treat to drive back after a day of hiking to comfort but healthy food that we choose from her wide variety menu selection. From vegetarian to the meat lovers. The breakfast in the morning was A+ as it was a surprise each morning with something different. Thank you again and I am sure we will be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Renee’s home. The house is located within a few minutes’ walk of the heart of Seneca Falls, so was convenient to the main attractions (the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, the National Women’s Hall of Fame, and the It’s a Wonderful Life Museum). It’s also a great base for exploring both Cayuga and Seneca Lakes and all their attractions. Renee is an engaging host and quite an innkeeper — we had waffles one morning, and her wonderful homemade bagels the other mornings, while enjoying her company and conversation. And she gave us a number of suggestions for local touring and dining places. We would cheerfully stay there again!

Back for another season-that’s how great this place is. Thank you Maria Eliza for all the care you put into creating this tranquil environment and perfect breakfast!

Loved our stay here, walkable to downtown which is what we were looking for. Was not excited to share a restroom amd common spaces but we ended up being the only guests during our stay and loved the main bathroom. She also had a great breakfast/brunch situation set up with some room in a small fridge.
