Three bedrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, a renovated kitchen, a turntable, and a rotary phone that still works. No microwave. No air conditioning. No hurry. Woodstock is fifteen minutes away when you want it. Most guests find they want it less than they expected. Surrounded by nature, with hiking, swimming, and Woodstock's charm nearby, it’s a peaceful escape in every season.

Stay a night at our tiny Hobbit House

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.

Welcome to The Walnut Grove Yurt! Our original yurt at Finger Lakes Cider House. This handcrafted yurt is an all-season, round, wooden cabin nestled creek -side in our walnut grove. Every detail is custom built by our Cider House crew. This little hobbit house sits on our 70 acre property of regenerative pasture, forest, and apple orchards— shared with our grass-fed flocks and herds of turkey, chicken, pigs, sheep, and white angus.

Sweet just built cabin with lovely mountain views offers great privacy. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer an optional all-natural Japanese hot tub experience as well as a cedar Sauna experience. Walking trails throughout. Lovely architectural details, beautiful furnishings and wonderful location. In summer, we offer wood fired pizza (most but not all nights). Close to Gore and Garnet Hill for skiing.
