Multiple Boat Launches less than 15 minutes away. Located in a area with all types of wildlife, we have alligators, deer, bobcats, hogs and owls. Its is quit & peaceful back here. So if you want to get away from city life for a while, this is the place. We have everything you need, just bring some clothes and food.

Wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. This place was just what we were looking for after staying 5 nights in New Orleans. It’s a very peaceful location. You get the feel of how the rest of Louisiana is outside of New Orleans. It’s a rustic fishing cabin just like the pics show but the place is clean and had whatever we needed to cook our breakfast(we ate out for dinners). One day we did plantation tours from here and the next day we did the swamp tour(highly recommended). The swamp tour is hosted by Allen(owner) and well worth it. He had us catching catfish out of the lake and later fried it up for us and made us a complete dinner! The owners live across the road and are very accessible and are such nice people! My one complaint is that the decking around the cabin is in pretty rough shape but the pictures do show this. From the decking we saw bald eagles, gators in the water, a snake, and lots of fish jumping out of the water!

It was a very relaxing stay. Close to the convention center where we were bowling. Also nearby restaurants and shopping. David was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Will stay there again when the tournament returns to Baton Rouge.

what a great host! we purchased towels, but she had towels. they purchase snacks but she provided complimentary snacks. for us and the puppies. this is a beautiful home that was decorated phenomenally by our Wonderful House Brittany. she paid very close attention to detail and you can tell that she appreciates her guest. I actually plan to stay there every time we visit.

Great neighborhood. Close to the airport but you never heard the planes when you were in the house. Great price, 20 minutes to New Orleans. Parking was small. Had a mid size SUV anything bigger would have to park on the street. Host was always quick to respond. Would stay if I visited NOLA again.
