Relax on the terrace and take in its generous views over the landscape, take a dip in your own private pool, open late May-Sept, or stroll through the vines and woodlands that are both equally abundant in the area.

This lovely property overlooks the courtyard and has its own garden with shady dining/bbq area. The property comprises: Kitchen/dining room with gas cooker, microwave, fridge etc. lounge area with flat screen TV. The spacious bedroom can be set up with a fold up bed/cot in addition to the king size bed, or set up with 2 single beds. There is a modern shower room with wc, shower and washbasin. Bed linen is provided. Guests are asked to provide there own towels.

Consists of a large, spacious and bright room equipped with an American kitchen, an air-conditioned bedroom upstairs and a large terrace. La Maison Benaise, our bicentennial farm, welcomes guests who are mainly looking for tranquility and nature (Natura 2000 site). Guests can enjoy beautiful walks in the hilly Charente landscape. Sports enthusiasts can practice mountain biking, canoeing, swimming in the river or lakes around us or simply relax with a book and a drink on the sunny terrace. For children, our four Shetland ponies are ready for a little hug.

A stay at Le Petit Contrefort offers a taste of country life in France, set within the grounds of the owner's property, guests can enjoy the pool, gardens, views, pizza oven, and meet the various animals. We only accept Saturday to Saturday bookings during the peak July and August periods.
