Greet the day in an updated tiled bathroom that has everything from a twin vanity to combined rain shower and tub. Elsewhere, the gleaming white interior is offset with color splashes, from carpets to wall accents, plus flagstone and wood floors. This home offers 1000 square feet of space to spread out and relax. With cable, wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, tea kettle, and coffee machine, you'll have all the comforts of home. Guests have full access to the backyard. Please respect quiet hours after 9 pm. The home, in classic New Orleans style, is split into two separate dwellings, with a shared backyard. I live on the other side of the duplex with my sweet miniature goldendoodle, Willie Nelson. I'm more then happy to interact or give you privacy. I've lived in New Orleans a long time and can offer any information you need about the city. Seventh Ward/Tremé is seen by many as the city's quintessential Creole neighborhood. Home to musicians, politicians, artists, and activists; it’s near City Park, the Degas House, the Free People of Color Museum, and a 20-30 minute walk or quick Lyft/Uber from the French Quarter. Coffee shops and local food nearby. The neighborhood is an authentic, richly diverse, NOLA neighborhood for experienced travelers, outside of the traditional tourists spots of Bourbon Street and Garden District. Parking is free on the street and there’s always ample parking. Walking a mile down Esplanade Ave to the French Quarter is lovely in the daytime. Ride shares and taxis are recommended everywhere in New Orleans at night, and the fare from Maison Laharpe to the Quarter is under $10, 5-7 minutes. Bus routes are nearby, as are Blue Bike rentals. It's the most common type of house that you'll find throughout the city. The location is close to the famous Treme neighborhood and is a convenient to walk to local restaurants and grocery stores on Esplanade Avenue, one of the most beautiful streets in the city. You can also take an inexpensive Uber or Lyft a mile north to City Park or a mile south to the French Quarter/Bywater or Downtown CBD/Warehouse District. Local city rental bikes are also available along Esplanade and are a great way to see the city. No smoking, parties, or pets. A neighborhood home that is extremely convenient and close to all of the fun and excitement, yet only 12 minutes from the hustle, bustle of the city! We are located in a quiet and safe suburb home with parking for many vehicles. The streetcar (trolly) is only 4 miles away which travels to the city of New Orleans; the city that never sleeps! My home is equipped with a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar and other sweetners. I also offer coke,diet coke,sprite and bottle water. There's a microwave, crock pot and a refrigerator, as well as utensils, dishes and other essentials for your convenience. We are in walking distance to a convenience store, a daiquiri shop and the Chalmette National Battlefield. Within a half mile radius there is the famous Rocky & Carlo's restaurant, a hospital, grocery, Wal Mart, laundromat, post office, banks, casino, local hot spots, and a park just to name a few!

This is our family cottage home in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is newly renovated, and decorated. We occasionally open it to all responsible, respectful, adult guest who abide by the house rules. No outside guest allowed after check in. It is 6.7 miles/15 minute drive to New Orleans/ French Quarter. We live next door. Absolutely no parties/ Booking Person must be the guest/ no more than 3 guest ever. We may ask for ID. If unsure. before you will be given the key. Wifi and Netflix.
